Some 24-26 other states have the same laws. This is nothing special about florida, california is one of the "fucked up states" where you have a duty to retreat.

In case you didn't know, florida and 24 or 26 other states have no "duty to retreat" from a brutal and vicious attack from a thug.

Best you to remember that and spread it in your community that in the free states if you hand out an ass whooping for disrespectin' you may get dead.

So that leaves half the states where you can't be a pussy? Sounds good to me. Glad I have the choice to live in a state where a George Zimmerman can't roam free and do whatever the fuck he wishes. I'd hate to get shot because a pussy wants to start shit but ends up realizing they can't back it up. Where I'm at 100% Georgie wouldn't have gotten out of his truck, he would have called the police and stayed in it making sure the doors were locked. Guns make people like him brave, when they're the complete opposite.

When did he lie? I honestly haven't followed this case much. It had media facade written all over it from the outset but I don't believe GZ has made any obvious lies--the definition of which is a deliberate deceit--NOT a mild inconsistency in storytelling, which is common.

One example: He purposely lied to the booking officer at the police station, he stated (it's on record, why they didn't charge him, I don't know) that he'd never been in a Diversion program (the one for his felony), how could he have "forgotten" that?

Bahahaha love it...

"Starts shit" = Keeping an eye on someone who is casing his neighbors houses.

his 911 call's all I need to know, his tone, the words he used, it's pretty obvious what his intentions were. Can I prove it? Absolutely not, but some things you know without having to prove them. Big bad wanna be cop decided to try and be John Mcclain, but quickly realized he wasn't even cut out to be Barney Fife. Like I said, in my town he wouldn't have exited his truck, do you think that might have something to do with not being able to carry a firearm here?

Ever think he was told that the diversion program would not show up on his record?

I know people in the 70's & 80's who were arrested/convicted of drunk driving and after taking a Alcohol Safety Action Program (VASAP & NASAP) the drunk driving conviction was removed from their records.

VASAP = Virginia Alcohol Safety Action Program

NASAP = Navy Alcohol Safety Action Program

I think it's more you have cultivated a culture of fear and law abiding citizens have little recourse to stop brutal and vicious attacks from thugs.

Free states there are no such barriers. You like making people fear you don't you? That way you feel "respectededededdddd", right homie? YO! You representin' da street! YO!

Foo betta recognize quebert when he bucks, dat foo best back up and hide in his car...YO!

what and the fuck are you talking about? Why do I want anyone to fear me? Do you agree with me that the only reason George got out of his truck is because he knew he had a pistol to fall back on if shit got hairy? Where I live law abiding citizens can't shoot people because they can't back up shit they start. If that ever changes here and people like Zimmerman can freely shoot people when they have some fear. Damn straight I'll be moving to one of the other 23 states where it's not legal.

Where I live people don't fear other people for the most part, we don't have to worry about wanna be cops like Georgie roaming around. I rather like not living life paranoid about overzealous neighborhood watch fuckers to be honest.

I imagine Trayvon's race influenced GZ's following him. Given te history of breakinz reportedly by black teens this is reasonable that it should.

There is no indication that when GZ was attacked he only fired upon T because he was black unless you think he would have been ok getting assaulted by a white guy.

What are you even talking about?

At the end of the day GZ 's decisions were not great but Trayvon's were worse--and illegal.

There's evidence that Zimmerman went after Trayvon while thinking he was somebody else... There's no evidence Trayvon attacked him for no reason.

As stated in the police report, Zimmerman following him alone was an instigation.

VASAP = Virginia Alcohol Safety Action Program

NASAP = Navy Alcohol Safety Action Program

bolded. Looking for the link now, hope I still have it.

Its not so much Zimmerman lied, its that he conspired with his wife to mislead the court on their finances.

His wife faces perjury charges for this, Zimmerman doe snot because he didn't state anything in court, his wife did.

They then shared jailhouse phone conversations and demonstrated Zimmerman and his wife discussing transferring the money around.

So Zimmerman really didn't lie to the court but its obvious he worked with his wife to hide money from the court.

Folks were skinned alive for questioning the legitimacy of witness 8 based on her "close" ties to Martin. We now know that the hospital pitch used an excuse for why she failed to even attend Martin's funeral were made up. Obviously they weren't that "close", but the motivation for witness 8 to make up an excuse to maintain portrayal of that "closeness" is disturbing.

Anyone really think that after Crump got to her that she thought about the made up hospital stint on her own? A quite convenient and motivated excuse for her to remain presentable as a close tie to Martin, something I highly doubt she had motivation to lie about for on her own accord (given she's not taking the case to trial).

Of course, most folks knew she was lying about the hospital from the start. It was the question of why would she be motivated to do so that is as important. Didn't look good for prosecution then, looks worse now. Odd that the judge won't allow much digging into why witness 8 lied about this important topic.

Because people keep denying that GZ went after Trayvon based on race.

If Trayvon was white, the fact he was wearing a hoody wouldn't lead Zimmerman to jump to the conclusion that he was a burglar.

The fact that Trayvon was black led Zimmerman to jump to these incorrect conclusions when he set off to instigate the confrontation.

That's bullshit.

I give them a pass. They were freaked the fuck out. Fine her, but don't blame the cat for scratching the wall when it had no where else to go after you backed it into a corner.

I swear to God if Zimmerman had decided to drive away, you'd criticize him for not driving fast enough.

Anyone wonder why the Tawana Brawley and Duke Lacrosse cases come back again and again in one form or another?

It's because the true racists in our society thrive on it and engage wherever they can to continue push there racist motivations for "justice". To them it's not about any particular incident,.. just that there is an avenue for them to be as blatantly racist as possible and feel some shield of protection from deserving backlash. A charged topic is their portal to feed on their deeply embedded racist outlook and then claim "you can't call me racist, look a black was involved!". To them it's not really about justice, it's about allotting punishment by any means necessary for their perceived notion of racism where ever an opportunity awaits. Plenty of this scum in this thread and plenty in the media.

“His girlfriend became absolutely inconsolable and had trouble breathing so her mother took her to a nearby hospital emergency room.

She had never seen her daughter this upset before, ever. She had a battery of tests, including an EKG, and was there for over 12 hours.

Doctors ultimately told her that she was going to be ok, but advised her mother to keep a close eye on her and try to minimize the stress around her.”

Lol

That quote is from a Global Grind article back in March of last year

"Trayvon's girlfriend just wants justice, period. She was extremely fearful of the Sanford Police Department and was scared of retaliation for cooperating with the investigators.

Her mother is very protective of her and will make sure she is safe. It's tragic that this teenager's life has now been changed forever, and the innocence of her youth is essentially gone."

Scared of the police eh? ROFL, man you couldn't make this shit up... oh wait, yes you could. In fact, someone did.

Scared of retaliation for cooperating with investigators... right, retaliation by whom? See, if she was speaking out that she'd heard Trayvon express his intent to go whoop that guy's ass, then I could see fearing retaliation. I think she's forgetting which culture has the "stop snitchin'" meme and which doesn't.

So they lied about her age so you'd think she was a minor... lied about the hospital... and from what I understand, we still haven't truly gotten confirmation that she was on the phone with him at all. I think we may be looking at a completely fabricated witness.

I love the idea that she was like, unable to breath she was so upset about him dying... then at her deposition she's like "yeaaa he was 'aight" about Trayvon. She sounded very far from being as close to him as is claimed. Let's not forget that, despite supposedly being his BFF since kindergarten, or some such bullshit... TM's parents had never heard of her. Then again they were absentee parents, and Sybrina lied about raising Trayvon when it was actually Tracy's wife Alicia who had raised him for the vast bulk of his life.

At this point I expect nothing but lies from the entire Trayvon family/friend camp. There is a wall of silence that goes up, it ties in with the stop snitchin' thing and it ties in with a general us vs. them attitude toward the rest of society, particularly the justice system.

Every time lies have been exposed on that side, I have been completely unsurprised. I expected lies galore, and I was right. I promise you this is just the tip of the ice berg when it comes to lies surrounding Trayvon btw.

As for this explanation that she was afraid of talking to the police? How does that account for the early hours/days of this? When there was not even a meme about the SPD being negligent or racist or whatever yet?
