So, last night I went out to the grocery store to pick up some medicine because I'm sick. Because it was cold out I put on my hoodie. Because it was windy, I wore the hood up mostly covering my face from the weather. And holy crap, I wasn't shot even though I kept the hood up the entire time and I was "in deep cover".

Florida has been using a jury of 6 since a SCOTUS decision in 1970 (Williams v Florida). There was case in 2009 trying to get the original decision overturned but SCOTUS denied the challenge (Deltoro v Florida).

Additionally, there's no reason to think Zimmerman did not want to confront Martin, there is circumstantial evidence that Martin did not want to confront Zimmerman. If he wanted to confront him he could have when Zimmerman was still in his truck.

You're saying if TM wanted a confrontation, he could have confronted GZ while GZ was in his truck. Ok, so I say the exact same thing goes for GZ. At the time GZ is relaying to the dispatcher that TM was approaching his truck, GZ was just as prepared for a confrontation, if not moreso (having his gun on him, but also being inside his truck), than the point of the actual confrontation. At the time TM was as close to GZ as GZ knew TM would ever be that night, GZ didn't so much as roll down his window to verbally confront him.

Also, I'd say there's circumstantial (maybe more than just circumstantial) evidence that TM DID want a confrontation. I think you can actually hear TM attempt to say something to GZ on the NEN call, just as GZ finishes saying "Please go get an officer over here". I think you can actually hear GZ roll up his window right before this point too. I think TM heard GZ's words referring to getting "an officer over here", and that's why he starting running.

Your point about Zimmerman not wanting a confrontation at that moment seems reasonable, and would support the idea Zimmerman wanted to see where Martin went, not confront him. But it might not have seemed that way from Martin's pov.

I especially enjoyed the part (I only skipped through the video) where they discuss the "black mother talk" where you explain to your sons to be polite to police officers, keep your hand on the wheel, you know that talk that white people don't have to have with their kids.

Another conversation, someone in the audience directly asked travon's mother "what do you want for us to do if zimmerman is acquitted"

Don't count on it. Judge Nelson will review and determine what is relevant to what occurred on 2/26/12. Only info that is relevant will become part of the discovery/evidence.

Although the judge ruled that defense attorneys were entitled to the information from Twitter and Facebook, she did not rule that jurors should see it. For that to happen, defense attorneys would have to convince her that it is relevant to what happened Feb. 26, 2012, the day Zimmerman shot the teenager in Sanford.

That's the WAV file I use to listen to the NEN call.

Go to ~1:27 in that file, and listen very closely between GZ's words of "over" and "here" when GZ says "Please go get an officer over here". I'm all but certain that that is a third voice (not GZ or the dispatcher) in the background. It could be someone in the background where the dispatcher is, but I imagine the microphone the dispatcher is speaking into is the type that is designed to minimize background noise pickup. Also, the fact that it sounds like a third voice at the exact time GZ says TM is approaching him would almost be too perfect of a coincidence for that 3rd voice not to be TM's.

I also hear what I think might be GZ rolling up his window (pushing the button, or the window motor engaging) at 1:26/1:27.

Perhaps when (if?) the defense finally gets a sound clip of TM's voice, there could be some sort of audio analysis to match the frequency range of TM's speaking voice to the range heard in the moment I'm referring to. Probably wouldn't prove it, but would just make it more likely.

LOL, those people not understanding the repercussion of Dee Dee's lying.

First off, I believe it was Crump that made the initial public statement back last May that Witness #8 "missed" the funeral as Trayvon's girlfriend and closest friend because she was overcome with grief. Instead there were several people that were able to retrieve cached website records of Dee Dee hanging out with her real boyfriend the day of the funeral and not at the hospital. Later, she also said in her disposition interview that she was at the hospital, but didn't give anything more specific than that. She also glossed over her relation with TM in that interview.

Fast forward to now. Defense team subpeona's for records from the hospital for Dee Dee during Trayvon's funeral and ... OOOppps! There is no records. Dee Dee and Crump lied. Something we all know for the last 10 months, but still so many were staunchly defending her.

Now we have the subpeona for her and trayvon's old online account records going through. Of which should further prove the lie that she and Trayvon were close boyfriend/girlfriend as a couple. Oh, they were "so close" that even the parents had no idea who she was. Not saying that the parents not knowing proves she wasn't his girlfriend, but those twitter/facebook/online blog records will prove that if the cached records posted before are correct.

So we have witness 8 who has lied about her age since last march, which she was 18 and not 16. She lied about going to the hospital instead of attending the funeral because she was so sick from grieving. She lied about being in intimate relations as a boyfriend/girlfriend couple with Trayvon. During the disposition she is caught offering to lie to DLR for another issues.

This all shows a pattern of her willing to lie to help convict George Zimmerman. This shows a pattern of Crump lying as well. Since the defense have now shown he has lied, I think putting Crump into disposition and putting him on the hotseat would further prove his lying and witness tampering/coaching. Of which the police had zero idea who Dee Dee until long after the murder. It was a witness Crump released to the media and there was a bunch of back and forth before she was ever interviewed by any form of law enforcement. Plenty of time for Crump to try and coach her.

So we have a pattern of lying for both Dee Dee and Crump. We have a large time frame in which Crump had ample time to tamper with the witness. Further investigation by the defense is more than likely going to rip her character to shreds with the officially released online records of her.

Which means she will NOT be put on the stand to testify with all that. She was the ONLY reason George was arrested in the first place. I predict that things are going to get worse for the prosecution once those online and school records come out.

If the phone records confirm that there was communication between Martin and DeeDee; it will be up to the prosecution to gamble on putting her on the stand.

A famous lawyer that I know has indicated that the prosecution can put her on the stand to testify what she claims she heard. Nothing is stopping them.
If so, O'Mara can then cross exam her and try create doubt on her credibility.

Perjury requires someone to knowing lie under oath. All we now have is a phone conversation with Crump. As I have said before scatter-brained Deedee needs to be put on the stand under oath and carefully questioned to find out the truth.
