I get that your intentionally misspelling Ms. Fulton's name is your idea of humor, but to me it's just a constant reminder of the precise kind of witlessness I'm dealing with. I still don't understand what's up with the random spacing of your paragraphs - is that meant to impart gravitas to your posts or something?
You're smarter than me because I can't figure out what he is trying to say with the misspelling...and I thought the spacing was some sort of haiku maybe
I particularly like his new "thug supporter" slur. We all know what he really wants to say.
What I want to say is penis every time I see you post...did you think about that when you chose your screen name?

A blackface parody jury picture would only make sense if the races in the case were reversed...

And people would be screaming about the pic, imo.

Or a reversed verdict. Think what it would be like if GZ had been found guilty of murder with a 100% black jury. We would probably have the exact opposite situations, and I wouldn't be surprised if there were riots as well.

I understand the picture is only a joke, but the sad thing is that some people truly believe that this is exactly what happened: racist jury that lets the "white" (not really white, but w/e) man go free.

Overall, though, I think the current riots and situation can be explained by the fact that some people just do not understand how the judicial system works. They will expect it to return judgements based on what they believe in, what they adhere to, or simply what they like. If we do ever get to the point where verdicts are rendered based on any of these, we'll be in big trouble indeed.

e: I do get the feeling I'm too nice simply saying they don't understand how the system works. It's probably got more to do with stupidity than understanding...

Statisticaly a 6 women jury has 1 chance over 64 to occur ,
1.5625% chance, if ever they are randomly selected over
the eligible population , actualy , a jury composed uniquely
of blacks and hispanos is equaly probable at 1/64 of a chance.

I must have missed something about the rules to select a jury
in this good ole fascist florida..
As a percentage of population 50.8% are women, 13.1% black, and 16.9% hispanic/latino. I think your math is off a tad.

You're assuming Eric Holder is not one of the misinformed butthurt crew and that's quite a leap...

There are really two different kinds of people outraged with the verdict. Those who are simply misinformed because they followed only the story the way the media portrayed it: an angelic child murdered in cold blood by an evil white racist while bringing home skittles. Then there are those who know the facts of the case and know that GZ didn't do anything wrong, but are simply blinded by their racism and just want mob 'justice', people like sharpton, holder and so forth.

I went on a very relaxing neighborhood walk yesterday.

It is refreshing to know that if a thug causes me to be in fear of my life I can simply shoot them dead.

It's a good country to live in, to know that if a thug doesn't appear to belong in the neighborhood it is perfectly legal to keep an eye on them, and if said thug wants to dish out some thug justice you can respond by merely putting a cap right in his heart.

You thug supporters take note.... If you wear a hoodie in deep cover or otherwise choose to follow thug culture then society (and our justice system) will FULLY support these older armed people keeping an eye on you.

If you have a problem with that then you best make better decisions than the ones trayon made.......

Just remember that there are zimmermans everywhere you look. CCW rates have exploded over the last few years, it's worth thinking twice before viciously attacking an innocent person when you CHOOSE to go around casing houses, peering into garages, and wearing a hoodie in deep cover.

Really? You think if GZ was convicted there would be any kind of riots?:biggrin:

Exactly. Since they haven't bothered to see the details of the case, they just look at the headlines and say "an unarmed black kid is killed, and the killer gets away with it. That's just not right!". The reality of course is much different, as anyone who has actually looked at the details of the case knows.

I posted this in off topic but I feel it belongs here. In summary, the man is saying that the black community is made up of savages because it is acceptable for blacks to treat each other like dirt and the only time a black man is worth anything is when someone who is not black, kills a black man. In the case of TM, blacks are protesting and acting like GZ is a racist when we know he is not.

Did Jackson or Sharpton comment on the near daily slaughter of young blacks by young blacks?

The number I have heard is 11,000 blacks have been killed since TM. Where is Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, and the rest of the race baiters for these 11,000 people?

Color me shocked...oh wait, no I'm not:hmm:

In fairness, that quote was not from him, it was from a random black woman, "Venita," interviewed by the reporter. Jackson's actual quote was more reasonable, even if I don't agree with it as a matter of law:

“How can a boy attending his business, going to his home, running from a man who is pursuing him be guilty and the killer not be?” asked Chicago civil rights leader Rev. Jesse Jackson in a live interview on NBC Chicago.

Jackson said, “I think it was always a stretch, having, this is not a jury of his peers: six women, not one black, not one man. It never was a jury of his peers. I’m really challenged, in some sense, thinking about this jury.”

Anyone else find humor in seeing some of the riot coverage that shows black cops man handling unruly TM supporters?

I was wrong, I thought that was his quote. But I do believe a lot of people still think that in this country.

Shit the vast majority of the thug supporters expect "society" to look the other way from some thug who is peering into garages and casing houses.

Good thing our justice system has shown it is perfectly legal to keep an eye on some thug who is up to no good.

Yeah I read it after posting, but like you his find commentary only slightly reasonable, it still distorts the known facts of the case and basically leaves out anything that makes TM culpable for the events of that night and makes him out to be a martyr/angel instead of the troubled young man he really was.
