What's the corroborating physical evidence that Trayvon threw the first punch?
<sigh> I've stated several times that we DON'T know that Martin threw the first punch. We DO know that Martin assaulted Zimmerman. Zimmerman's broken nose, bruising and scalp lacerations are evidence that Martin assaulted him, not that Martin threw the first punch, and while I have a problem with someone using deadly force to escape being beaten in a fight he started, we have no credible evidence of that happening either. (Besides which, having one's head slammed into concrete is definitely dangerous and the State of Florida is a bit more generous with self defense latitude than am I.) Zimmerman's injuries are evidence supporting Zimmerman's story; they aren't conclusive evidence but they are evidence. By contrast there is no evidence of Zimmerman throwing ANY punches, much less the first one. Doesn't mean it didn't happen, but there is no evidence to support it.
Remember too that Zimmerman's reaction on being told that the incident was captured on security camera was "Thank G-d!", not "oh shit!" This is evidence that he is telling the truth, or at least believes himself to be. Again, evidence is not necessarily proof, but it is indicative of the truth.
Quiet you. This is ATP&N, you're not allowed to make any kind of sense.
LOL Sometimes I forget.
I don't care if you "protect a white man" or not, it doesn't change the facts of this case. It just shows that you are a bigot if you believe everything George Zimmermans says. The coward wouldn't even take the stand to be cross examined.
One wonders if you will hold that same attitude to young black men on trial. Are they too cowards if they don't take the stand to be cross examined? Should we just strike out that part of our Constitutional protections so that we can be all manly?
