Those are some great prices on the Lian Li's! Never seen them that low.
Ordered from them before. Good company.

Why are people so hot about the Lian Li cases?

Isn't aluminium just plain louder than a steel case?

No..not really. And also there's a lot of room in the case, sliding motherboard tray, and a vast amount of cool quirks to the case. Not to mention they're lighter than hell. I'm thinking of ditching my thermaltake Xaserv for one of these.

What to do, what to do.

Yes, aluminum is louder all things being equal. Fact is though that Lian Li makes quality cases and these are a reasonable value at the offered prices.

Sweet Price on the Coolermaster Stacker. Best price I've seen yet.

Link

They have the black one too, but it's $150...still not bad, but not great either.

You could always pick up a window for $30 elsewhere, still cheaper than buying the PC65.

or if you like to do it yourself just get those generic Pixie glass at your local Lowes or Home Depot and tell them to cut the size to fit your demension. After that go home and cut the side drill a few holes and you got a cheap case window. Btw, awesome price on that Lian Li if I didn't have an extra case already i'd probably buy that!

Their shipping prices are a little weird, though. The light aluminium cases have $35 shipping, but for the heavy Antec cases shipping is $15 (same service).

I don't understand why anyone would spend more than $100 on a case, but >$270 is a complete ripoff and I feel sorry for anyone whose money is so easily stolen. So if you want to get a Lian-Li, this is the deal to get in on.

Agreed. They say $35 shipping but then it says $15 ground discount...so would that make it $20 shipping?

Depends on the case. If I spend $150 on a case that will last me 5 years and you purchase two or 3 cases in the same span due to upgrades there's not a huge difference...

why would you change the case for an upgrade? Unless you have some completely different form factor, there is no good reason to change a case.

I always keep my best computer in my 3.5 year old Antec 1040B, so everytime I build a computer (once a year or so) things get shifted. If I didn't have 2 extra cases I would have had to get a new case.

I love eXcaliberPC. They're not too far away, and they always ship the same day I order, so the cheapest shipping is just like 2nd day. They're also one of the few places that had the Thermaltake Xaser III V2000A that I wanted (also the cheapest place I could find). Never had a problem with this place.
