Unbreakable thread (spoilers)

i thought it totally sucked sh!t

the director tried to make it exactly like sixth sense, and i dont' think that type of story went with the sixth sense style. he also tried too hard with the wierd camera angles. usually when they have wierd camera angle's like that, they usually have some meaning to them, but in unbreakable it seemed like the director over did it and was just doing it for sh!ts and giggles. the ending was predictable (a la sixth sense). the movie really didn't have any plot, it made the audience wonder throughout the whole movie "uhh where's this going? how the hell is this gonna end? i'm sleepy" and when you finally see what the plot is, it's really cheesey. i think it's cheesey because of the way it was directed....if they did it in a different style, the movie would've been much better. that "sixth sense style" just didn't work with this story. it made the movie lag and get really boring at times.

i think this movie totally sucked sh!t. i give it two smelly big toes down :frown:

Sloooooow movie, very slow, bring caffeine. Awesome ending, I plan to see the sequels (did you hear it is planned to be a trilogy?) Hopefully the sequels will be a little more action packed, I can't wait to see what Mr. Glass can do with that great evil mind of his.

And how stupid can they assume we are... How about instead of shooting himself he took a knife and cut himself... that seems a LOT less fatal if he doesn't turn out to be invincible... DUH.

Interesting note on the ending. Did anyone else notice on the wall with all of the newspaper clippings behind Mr. Glass there was one that said &quot;Airplane crashes, One boy miraculesly survives&quot;?? Or something to that effet. Maybe we have Raincoat Man's sidekick for the next film...

I thought it ended too abruptly, but the ending was good. The movie was kind of slow and then in the last few minutes it just sped up. When it ended, it just didn't feel right.

I enjoyed it though.

I watched the 10:30PM block, only 1/4 of the room was filled.

I saw the movie last night, and thought that it was very good.
The rumor is the it is planned to be the beginning of a trilogy.
I hope that the next two films are just as tight, and well told as the first.

I left that movie wanting more, but in the end I thought that it was a realistic portrayal of a &quot;super-hero&quot;, and I was glad that not all of the aspects of his abilities were addressed (i.e. we don't know if he is bulletproof/knifeproof, or if he can fly or something)

Like I said... Can't wait to see more

If you saw Star Wars Ep 3 by itself, you would think it sucked too.

however i thought this was a great movie -- it made me think if something like this could be true. and M.N.S. is a great screen writer, IMO.
