Okay, going to take things in the opposite direction. And this is strange...
I defended Killzone 2 and the slower controls. Absolutely have a blast in that game.
But... don't get me wrong, I  Uncharted and will be buying 2 as well, but not sure if I'll venture into multiplayer too often, though maybe for co-op. But while the controls are extremely slow (and maybe it's just the TPS aspect versus FPS which is killing me as well in terms of multiplayer competitive skill), the other aspect is the sheer amount of damage it seemingly takes to kill someone. And the radar thing is confusing me, or do enemies even get presented at all? Couldn't figure that out. Not even sure if that is even radar for friendlies. So confused. That's not a deal breaker at all, as it'd be refreshing to be radar-less. I enjoy no-radar in FPS games quite often, like hardcore mode in CoD4. But I think the combination of slow controls and massive damage requirements is kind of irking me. I haven't tried maxing the sensitivity yet, so that's for tomorrow.
Glad multiplayer is in the game, but I might not frequent it all that often. Didn't mind the lack of it one bit in Uncharted. Sometimes I just enjoy a good single-player game and don't need multiplayer in every game. I'd rather it that way, or at least many games I just wouldn't play it, but it would be nice to have there for those who would play it. I think it sweetens the deal for Uncharted 2, most definitely, and will help as a system seller if its hyped correctly. I'm just stoked for the single player. Just watched the E3 trailer, and impressed with the dialog yet again. I love the wit and humor that so perfectly mixes in to the whole game in Uncharted, that kind of sarcastic and witty yet badass character is refreshing over the grizzly, 'i have no emotions other than 3 levels of anger', character.
