Uncharted 4 Gameplay

I personally would wait, but don't know how bad you want to play the game. Only because the current console might drop in price once the refresh is closer to being out.

Yea the game will work on both even though there is no release date for the new system. I would feel bad if it was released really soon and I had just purchased the system. If it's not out until Xmas than you could always trade it in or sell it. I'm hoping they will have some trade in deals at best buy for the new system.

I want it but I will not pay full price whatever it may cost. I'm guessing they will sell it for $499 so that they can drop the ps4 to $300.

Is it just me or did GameSpot give this a 10? They rarely every give games a perfect score or is it another site I'm thinking of?

Only complaint was the finicky cover system.

Not an offensive list of 10's so if this game is in the same company, I'm excited. Even an 8.5 would be welcomed since there hasn't been much new this year.

Yea I agree with most of these games they gave a 10. This does make it exciting too. I hope it's not a short game either. I still need to finish tomb raider too on Xbox but I've been going through collecting all the extras.

I'm going to stop by best buy near my job and reserve a copy today.

Since it's single player I could probably get through it and trade it in while it's still high value and not pay much overall for it, just to have something new to play.

I did that with the order. I actually sold it once I finished it. Uncharted has MP too but I played the beta and it was alright just your basic team based games. If you have best buy's gcu you can also get extra money when you trade it in.

Bah, I still have Uncharted Collection sitting in the shrink wrap. Backlogs like this never happened when I was a kid.

The animation and camera angles are incredibly similar to Rise of the Tomb Raider

Uncharted has used this same method of gameplay and camera for years before the new Tomb Raider games. If you're trying to insinuate that Uncharted copied Tomb Raider you'd have it backwards.

Well I pre ordered my copy here where I work so I'll pick it up Tuesday at lunch. Its been years since I played the originals. I still have 2 and 3 of the ps3 but don't have the system anymore.

I really enjoyed 2 but I also liked 3 a lot because it seemed like it had a lot more action. If they would have dropped the price of the collection edition for ps4 I would have bought it to play through again.

I have it here on my way home. I also probably have jury duty tomorrow so I don't know if I will get a chance to play. If I do let go I don't have to go in to work so I'll try the game.

I lost interested in this game like I did with Phantom pain. The first game-play video for both highly impress me but as they both got closer to release, my interest waiver off and it time to trust my instinct.

However on the other hand, FFXV whom I had little interest in from the start is now along with Persona 5, my 2 most anticipated RPG game. The more both of these games are closer to release, the more interested in them I am. Life is weird that way.

Just popped it in now and I have to wait for a 5gb patch to download. Must be a lot of people downloading at the same time becuase its never said an hour even for larger patches.

The other titles were this way too, Last of Us was as well for the most part. Though it takes a bit for the game to get into the groove from what the reviews say.


I had to laugh at the 5GB day 1 update though.

Yup it crashed for me too at the beginning I think in act 1. The funny thing is my ps4 spit the game disc out. Then it started making weird noises.

It has done this before. I had put it in rest mode one night and I woke up in the middle of the night to the ps4 home screen jingle in the living room. It seems that it had turned itself back on.

I did purchase the extra warranty when I bought the console but I'm sure it's over now.

So far the graphics are very well done. Best I've seen so far and the views at some points are amazing. The gameplay is from what I remember just like the old games. I feel Nathan moves a bit quicker now and there isn't any odd quirks.

I'm playing on the next to hardest difficulty with all the assist things off. It is kind of slow in the beginning and I got up to the fourth chapter I think. But I did skip most of the cuscenes because I was just curious of what was happening next.

I'll start it over another day when I can sit down and take my time. So far it's pretty much what I was expecting and I feel its worth it so far. There is a bit more action in certain areas which is nice but the beginning also has a lot of platforming. I need to spend more time exploring too.
