The tearing in some of the mid-levels around the jet skiing and when you are going on the land around that level is pretty bad
Purbeast, I like you and all, but if I have to read about you and your tearing problems much more, I'm going to shoot myself. I swear to god I've read the word tearing in your posts atleast 5 times a week in the past 2 months, and I've rolled my eyes every time. Give it up son, just give it up. We've not had any problems, you and I, so hate me now if you want. But somebody has to say it.
if you are disagreeing about the tearing in uncharted, you obviously have not played it.
i mean i own the game, i'm not trying to rip anything. i'll take a freaking pic of the game (and my other ps3 games) if you don't believe me lol.
Ive not seen any tearing. What are you playing in, 720 or 1080? No tearing at all on my end, playing in either 720p, or 1080i.
720p, and i'm sorry then you just do not know what tearing is or just do not notice it. the graphics card in my PS3 is the same as yours so it is going to run the same. i'd take a video of it but i don't have my camera with me.
i saw in the GTA4 thread that people thought the framerate was fine when it's clearly not even 30FPS for the majority of the trailer, so maybe some people just ignore graphical "issues" if you wanna call it that.
you do tend to have more tearing issues that everyone else. and we all know what tearing is. although the only tearing I've seen in the Uncharted demo, is like.. horizontal tearing? If you wanna call it that? I'm used to screen tearing making bands that stretch from top-to-bottom and shift the frame around as you pan the scene. In the demo for Uncharted, all I've seen is horizontal banding, that does a similar thing. So, it's tearing, it's just not happening in the same way. Oh and, yea... I don't have the full game to compare, but I've seen you complain more about tearing than anyone else, and on games that most people never see tearing, including me, at least not to a degree that I would ever need to write about it. If it happens a couple times in a couple scenes in the game, it's nothing I'd even take note of.
