As an aside, I haven't noticed any tearing. I do notice motion blur that kicks in while spinning around for more than about a half second.

The motion blur is intentional. Maybe you already know this, but I couldn't tell by your post, so I figured I'd point it out.

Could someone post a VIDEO that shows tearing? I've seen screenshots, but they don't do anything for me. If I can't notice it in a video, it doesn't matter to me.

After 1.5 DAYS I finally got the demo to download. I'm only a few minutes into it (just to make sure that it installed) and the cutscenes are incredible.
Can't wait to get more into this thing!

its there if you really look for it, but if youre playing the game its not noticeable. unless youre very sensitive like purbeast it wont be an issue for you.

I'm not too worried about it, because I played another game that he said had this issue (Saints Row) and didn't notice anything. I'm just trying to figure out what it looks like when it happens in the middle of a game and not in a screenshot. It's certainly not going to affect my decision on this game - I'm getting Drake's Fortune regardless. I'd have already started playing it, but my parents were bugging me for Christmas present ideas.

you didn't see tearing in saints row? wow that is like the game that has the worst tearing i've ever seen. even the cutscenes are ridiculously filled with it!
i see you have a 360 ... do you have Bioshock?
if you do, play some parts of the game. then pause it and turn off v-sync in the options and play it some more. you will notice the framerate is a lot faster but you will then see tearing. then go back to the options and turn it back on and compare how the two different ways work.
with vsync on in bioshock the framerate is locked at 30fps, with it turned off the framerate varies and i think it hits 60fps at points, but you will see tearing.

I noticed it maybe once or twice, in hours and hours of game time. It appears that you're hypersensitive to it.
