I don't buy into the whole CBD thing, anyway. I do think that some people are more easily led, particularly by emotional appeals that fit into existing conditioned belief systems.

There's a saying in AA that applies to right wing outrage-oholics as well- "An alcoholic's brain is like a pot full of shit- it's a perfectly good pot, but you have to clean it out really well before you can cook in it."

Not that many will have such an epiphany given the constant barrage of agitprop from the well financed right wing noise machine, unfortunately.

As usual you assume far too much. I did a google search based on the title in DVC's post and then posted it, nothing more. The only comments I made was the description matched quite a few people on here such as yourself to a "T". All your posts have done is confirm that fact.

So I guess where we are is that there are many peer reviewed papers showing a connection between physical brain differences between liberals and conservatives and characteristics associated with those parts of the brain, but none denying that connection, is that correct. My dear friend LunarRay suggested to me this morning while we were playing Diablo that I seek to get some agreement on that?

So my dear conservative friends, are you aware that a host of peer reviewed studies point to these differences, and if so how do you interpret the findings? Are conservatives more likely than liberals to deny bad news for the ego, do they focus more on the negative, are they more magnetized by fear, are they more into authority, obedience, respect for superiors etc etc etc, to list a few observations listed in the science as peer corroborated finding.

Remember that conservatives blame people for their defects because if there were no blame there would accrue to them no glory for not having those defects themselves, it's all about ego inflation to cover up feelings of inadequacy. This is the reason it makes it impossible for them to look frankly at themselves. You are not going to help them get past this defect by blaming them for it. I'd think that would be important to conclusively figured out, as that sort of either makes your irrational fixation on self validation somewhat relevant, or, confirms this irrational fixation as simply what it is now, which is a forum entertainment source.
