Federal Law Enforcement Use Unmarked Vehicles To Grab Protesters Off Portland Streets

Federal law enforcement officers have been using unmarked vehicles to drive around downtown Portland and detain protesters since at least July 14.

Thread title says it all. One guy was grabbed, thrown into the back of an SUV, blindfolded, brought into what turned out to be the federal court house, his things were searched, then he was inexplicably released when they couldn't find anything incriminating on him.

Meanwhile the City of Portland says they want no help from the feds in dealing with the ongoing protests. Also, they are doing this off federal property where they have no jurisdiction.

Federal law enforcement, wiping its ass with the copies of the 4th, 5th and 6th amendments under Donald Trump.

This is yet another taste of what we can expect if Trump gets another 4 years.

Ongoing BLM protests. And, according to this editorial, the following highly concerning conduct:

• "Violent anarchists" doxed members of federal law enforcement.
• "Violent anarchists" attempted to damage the Hatfield Courthouse by throwing objects at it and spray painting it. Numerous fireworks were also lit.
• "Violent anarchists" trespassed on federal property and destroyed a card reader at the Justice Center.

I can't speak to whether this is a complete and exhaustive list. "Violent anarchists" is a phrase used by Chad Wolf to justify these actions.
