Searched and didn't find a thread, apologies if this was already posted

https://unigine.com/en/products/benchmarks/superposition

My results:
1080p Extreme - 6497
4k Optimized - 10189

5820k 4.2ghz, 16gb DDR4-2400, Pascal Titan X +221 core / +447 mem, Razer Diamondback Chroma

Looks pretty nice and has some interesting interactive modes. I want to try the VR mode but I don't want to pay 20 bucks for it.

Is that true, it only supports DX11 and OpenGL? Well, looks like it's obsolete out of the gate, then.

Well, the date on that info is Feb 7th of this year. Maybe there has been an update, but a quick search didn't show anything new.

All stock settings
Am I reading that right, and you have two Fury (non-X) cards? Looks like this needs a CrossFire profile ...

My results (note that CPU speed is apparently misread, it's currently @3.52GHz):
1080p medium:

It's nice to see what kind of improvement I can expect once motherboard manufacturers get their head out of their collective a**es and I can get my ITX 1600X upgrade done.
1080p Extreme:

4K optimized:

Graphics API: DirectX..... ?

It's linux as well. Is there Vulkan support?

I have been following their press releases and haven't seen any updated related to Vulkan support. Actually, Im surprised they are still alive, considering the engine costs several thousands while you can start for free with Unreal and Unity.

It would have been nice if some of the objects had physics. It just breaks the immersion when you see paper incapable of bending. It would have been a great addition to test the CPU.

Does not properly utilize multi-gpu (SLI).

I tried adding the superposition executable to several existing profiles utilizing DX11 SLI. While SLI does work, the maximum frame rate is not as high as single GPU. It did seem to help dips below 60 fps. I can't be sure of that though.

One of the profiles I tried adding it to was Witcher 3. It broke some rendering, but SLI scaling was working great for the 1080P Extreme test. I should have captured the results of that.

With my stock BIOS overclock, I normally boost to 1446 or 1431 MHz in game. In this test, I've seen the core frequency dip as low as 1393Mhz. Should be amazing for GPU OC stability testing.

1080p Extreme = 3960
4K Optimized = 5997

GTX 980Ti Overclock settings are:

+87mv
110% Power limit
+ 130 Core
+ 500 Memory

During testing it sitting around 1405Mhz on the core and 8000MHz on the memory.

I might have to load the Modded Bios to try some 1500Mhz+ fun

Normally on the Unigine benchmarks it will show each GPU, temp, load, etc.
Also very easy to tell because GPU1 will be hot and the rest cool.
SLI works fine in Heaven and Valley.
For whatever reason it's not working on this one.
Try custom settings and cranking to max. It gets real slow.

Adding the executable to an existing profile with SLI bits does enable SLI as it has always done. You could also add the executable under it's own profile and manually input whatever SLI bits. It shows both of my GPUs during the benchmark.

No, your point?

If Vulkan / DX12 isn't he primary API for the next 24+ months, DX11 is still and will remain VERY relevant.

Why would they have to be exclusive?

Generally speaking, games that have both DX11 and DX12 are a mixed bag. Some show good improvements on DX12 while others show regression or no improvement at all. I think performance is ultimately developer dependent, but simply labeling something DX12 means very, very little on the surface.

It's gaining more traction with every passing month. DX11 and OpenGL are on the way out; it makes no sense to release a new benchmark just using them. 3DMark had the right idea to design Time Spy around DX12.

What are you talking about? It looks better than any game I've seen, including those that use DX12 and Vulkan. I don't see this being particularly CPU limited anyway.

Ok, seems tha unigine listened to you. According to Phoronix, they will support Vulkan later this year.
