Obvious CPU Limiting is Obvious.

Context Queue - 0
Maximum Pre-rendered Frames - 0
High Quality Texture Filtering
Surface Format Optimization - Off
Forced 16x Anisotropic Filtering
All Optimizations off except Tessellation Optimization.

The massive amount of micro-stuttering is absolutely hilarious.

Probably would go higher if Context Queue at 3+ and/or Maximum Pre-rendered Frames at 3+, but I don't play games with those settings, so its pointless.

Which three cards are you using and at what clock speeds?

Thanks

For anyone curious, this is what 607w at the wall looks like:

i5 @ 4.8/4.7 1.25v
7950 CF @ 1215/1750 max voltage

Probably not, that wasn't even a clean run.

If I had my first card sure, but my third is strong in memory, weak in core, while my second is strong in core, weak in memory..

I can't win, not like this!

Maybe

Not clean, meaning artifacts? Still - your score is real strong.

Memory artifacts, yes.

Only from the one card, and not bad enough to crash it, but still it wasn't clean - though it's not like that was ever a requirement!

I could probably clock them to their maxes differently and get a better score, but the nVidia in me says, "wut, no way!"...

Nice If not having artifacts was a requirement I would have received a lower score
By the 10th screen my core starts to artifact. My memory is good for 1910Mhz @ 1.7v, but I can't run the core and the mem that high at the same time - I would need to be under water for that.

Here's my KFA² GTX 670 2GB EX OC at default (factory-overclocked) settings.

i7 3770K @ 4.8 GHz
Gigabyte GTX680 OC @ 1085/1150 Base/Boost, 7000 RAM
Trying to match GTX770 clocks to see if this is comparable.

You guys simply have more guts than me.
I see any artifacts, i quit immediately and lower my settings fearing I may damage my cards and I'll end up with permanent artifacts.
I just don't feel I'm that lucky..LOL

Anyway, i'm sure nobody actually runs their cards daily at the speeds we use for testing "max OC" and/or "max benchmark scores" either.
I know i don't cuz i'm too poor to risk it.

Now, when i'm getting near ready to upgrade again, i'll OC my cpu to 5ghz and max my GPU's to see what this thing really has.
I know my cpu does at least 5ghz, since when i first got it, that is where the Asus OC tuning wizard set it at, but i never liked the voltage, so I stuck to manual settings with low voltages instead.

Results for an i7 2600k @ 4.5Ghz and a GTX 780 @ 1176/3500

1080p Extreme HD :

Trying to figure out why your score is lower than John T's score with higher clocks. Would your CPU make that much of a difference?

Crank those suckers up!! Valley loves the memory clock, see if you can bump the memory up some. BTW, if the artifacts start to show during the first part of the test then I close it out. But it they show up towards the end I push for it to finish. My card hates me btw I can tell you I cannot replicate my highest score anymore - Not sure why? Could be due to throttling.. I would assume most people do not game at the clocks they are submitting. Gotta love pushing your hardware to the limits.

If you're referencing this members results from a few pages back:
2700K at 5.2GHz, EVGA GTX 780 SC at 1150/1680, 73.1 FPS, 3057
Stock bios and voltage. V320.11 driver.
(only slightly faster than 660SLI)
But much more shiny..

it's more than likely his CPU speed being clocked to 5.2GHz that gives him the 1.1 fps increase.

That's the one. , 700Mhz may make a little difference Thanks!
