Kinda surprised the 970's are not scoring closer to 3000 along with the 780's.

Speaking of (edit) picked up an Asus GTX 780 while they are blowing them out. Probably the most I've ever spent on a GPU at $310.- AR but it seems to be a nice piece of equipment. Certainly the heaviest.....

GPU: 1280mhz Memory: 1741mhz at 1.2v. I'm scared to try and hack it to higher voltage right now.

Games don't benefit much from this small of a overclock, i run stock but for fun i figured i would see what will happen here.

It runs 1.212 from the factory, pretty sure 1.262 won't kill it.

Every piece of equipment I've owned and overclocked in the past five years is still operational without an issue.

I'll lower it for you though

Look at hard ocp :

you seem to be indicating hardocp is running really high voltage but they are not. they are at 1.25 which is lower than yours.

I just have not seen any other card actually go to 1.262 without mods. and are your clocks really 1639? is this card modded as I dont see how thats possible.

Well that's what I get for not double checking Afterburner vs Inspector (and alcohol may have had something to do with that too), either way I wasn't going to be that worried about it. It's at 1.237 now and I can probably drop it lower than that if I tried to tweak it further.

Edit: realized that it dropped the clock back a notch, forgot to hit save. Re-running it now

Bone stock MSI GTX 970, no bios mod.

This is 1.237 with all of my stuff running in the background, so not really pushing the score.

I'm still 24th after over a year? lol

Planning on waiting until 390X to upgrade, but we'll see what Team Green and Team Red have to offer by then...

Playing around with my reference design GTX 970 today.

Best run so far. Clocks in screenshot are the correct ones during the run. 1532/4105 It didn't throttle according to MSI Afterburner during the entire run.

Not bad for 1.156v I guess. It looks like I'd need to up the power limit on my card to get more of a overclock out of it. Did a custom mod to my bios but didn't up the total board limit much at all.

Interesting. Can you do a log file with MSI Afterburner? For you to have lower clocks and gain higher scores is weird, although different drivers now I suppose.
