Ok , that's a no.

What's a no, that the development of Unengine and Heaven was sponsored by Nvidia?

Did you even bother to look it up? I even told you where to find it. You are either being lazy or you're afraid of the truth.

That's what I call consistency. Is that at 1010 MHz? If so, that's even more amazing, as it's picking up the slight overclock in the score. Have you tried overclocking? You have the PCB and cooler for it. I'd be curious how far beyond the limits of my tiny HD7870 you could get. I can hit 1175/1450 in some benchmarks, but run at 1150 in games to keep it stable.

No, it was at the stock 1000/12000 for a 7870. At 1010/1210, the benchmark score was:

FPS: 28.0
Score: 1172
Min FPS: 14.3
Max FPS: 53.1

So it did pick up a slight improvement from the overclock. And hey, don't call my graphics card tiny. It's over half a 7970. If you're going to call anything "tiny", use a 7750 or a 650.

Ha ha, I meant physically tiny, yours is huge, with a big cooler.

Best I've done with my 7950@1035/1700 (could push the core clock quite a bit more, but I've been way too lazy to play with voltages lately)

Ah, I see. ^_^ I'm not sure I could pass the clock speeds you set your 7870 to without tweaking the voltage, and I prefer not to do that.

After making some more tests I found out the culprit for my earlier low scores is the Filter type in the AA options in CCC.

If set to Standard I score 1600+ on ExtremeHD but if set to Edge-Detect I get in the 1200...

You should give it a try - you have one of the best 7870s out there. TechPowerUp was able to get an astounding 1260core/1620mem at stock volts out of the pre-overclocked model. You should be able to get pretty close.

The minimum fps numbers can almost be thrown out as they produce extremely low numbers in one scene where it hitches. Otherwise it's much higher pretty much all the time. If you want to remedy this, cycle through the scenes by pressing enter and let each one load up for a few seconds. I managed to get my minimums 10fps higher by doing this but it affected the score very little anyway.

Just got a memory lock up in Crysis 2 at 1450mhz.
Dropped my OC to 1150/1400 since it's the one that is stable.

I thought I could get to 1500 on that model but that's a nice OC anyways.

5850 at stock clocks

I have a 3770k and a GTX 680 coming this week so stay tuned for updated benchmarks. I am actually surprised the old 5850 did as well as it did. This is one heck of a pretty benchmark

My 7870 crossfire@1100/1350 did pretty well. A real crossfire profile would probably help.

My previous benchmarks were under Catalyst 13.2 beta 3; this is with beta 6 (at 1010/1210):

FPS: 31.0
Score: 1296
Min FPS: 15.1
Max FPS 57.4

8% improvement overall.

System is as in the signature with 680's at stock clock speeds. Settings:
DX11
Ultra quality
AA 8x
1920x1200

Score = 3076

I notice quite a lot of microstutter in the benchmark, not as bad as it was on heaven but still noticeably problematic. Fraps frame time trace and an absolute frame time difference are shown below. If this was a game I would call it unplayable, not because the frame rate is poor but because the stutter is really quite bad.

Frame time trace

Absolute difference between frame times sorted

Turning vsync on doesn't help much in some scenes but in others the microstutter becomes unnoticeable. It does drop the score to 2556. Ideally the orange below should never go above 5ms or so, anything above that and I detect it quite easily. As the trace shows even with vsync on just like with vsync off above the benchmark goes above that threshold not just with momentary jitters (which there are a lot of) but also often enough to cause stuttering motion.
