Decided to turn off the C-states on my CPU to see what would happen. Gave me a bit of a bump. I even have lower clocks on the Titans for this test.

Got 123.6 with 314.14 drivers / driver defaults / +125 core +250 memory

Now I get 132.0 with 314.14 drivers / driver defaults / +100 core +50 memory

Only difference is that the C-states are off. Go figure.

Best result so far, 1228/3750 clocks. I'm slightly unstable at 1228 core. I've only got about a 50/50 chance of completing the benchmark. Memory is also near it's limit with that massive overclock, though I believe I can pull off +800.

This is running under water with the 1.212v, 115% power limit modded bios. So close to the magical 80fps on single card.

It will not allow me to run the 'Extreme HD' in windowed mode, so I can only so the 'Extreme' preset.

Edit: Interestingly enough - max memory on Extreme is ~1300MB.

So I after having some stabilty issues at 1200/1425, I bumped it back down to 1150/1425, but I was able to get my CPU stable at 4.5GHz from 4.3GHz which seemed to bring up my min FPS. BTW, I thought these 7950 BEs were supposed to be on par with the 670s and faster when OCed, but looking at some of the 670 results, they are blowing to 7950s away. Is this bench that much geared toward Nvidia cards or are they really that much faster?

Sapphire 7950 @ 1150/1425 | i5 2500k @ 4.5

Valley performs much better on Nvidia. My OC'd GTX670 (which scores 45.8fps) is 35% faster than my OC'd HD7870 in Valley, but only about 20% faster in games.

This is true. Although I haven't seen many GTX 670's get 50+FPS on this bench. Is more likely with a good clocking 7950. I managed to squeeze 52.6 FPS out of mine. But I am on the verge of killing my card

Has anyone noticed and increase of AVG FPS - When they increase their CPU and System memory clocks?

Not too terrible with a couple of mid range cards. Must resist urge to buy 2x 670's or a Titan.

CPU speed definitely influences the overall score, yes. It isn't as pronounced as it is in 3dmark, though - in 3dmark11 for instance, the difference between SB-E and IB is around 200-300 points in favor of the SB-E.
