Uninstall blazefind isearch toolbar

i have this thing called the "blazefind isearch toolbar" and i can't figure out where to uninstall it at. I ran spybot s&d but all it did was remove the spyware file. The damn toolbar still exists, even though i removed it off the explorer toolbar through msconfig. Can anyone tell me, perhaps, how to completely remove it?

You'll probably have to download an anti-hijacking tool (e.g. Hijack This). Just google for one. Try adaware too. One or the other tool ought to be able to kill it. Plus there may be a blazefind-specific tool, just google on the name of the nasty.

i strongly suggest spybot search and destroy, its free and blocks thousands of programs just like that one.

thanks zepper, yeah i ran adaware already but it didn't find anything. I'll google for some blazefind-specific tools and see if i can get lucky. thanks!

Search your registry for instances of the file yet? Or there's some programs that do it.... don't remember names tho.

Check here... Follow the instructions in this thread then report back here if you still have problems.

And don't forget to DL the latest signature file(s) (or run the programs' auto update function after installing, if available) along with the tools.

Hi Everyone,

I am having the same problem that mato7742 is/was having...

Somehow isearch got installed on my computer and I can't remove it. So far I've used adaware, spybot, and hijackthis, but for hijackthis I wasn't sure which files to remove. I also tried some of those things from this thread

Anyway, if any of you have figured this out, please let me know.
