Uninstall Outlook Express!

I used a web-based email service and dont need Outlook Express, but when I unistalled it, I was prompted about a system rre-boot. but when my system booted to windows the desktop background!? had changed (to blue w/ win 98 logo) and Outlook Express seemed to have be freshly installed (new short cuts on desktop and system tray)<-These are some of the reasons I wanted to get rid of this program, that and space on HD.

I figure a reinstall and Unistall might help (trying that in a minute)

any other Ideas?
(the shtty part is that this is a fresh reformat, and when I added MS office I chose not to install this and net meeting, but both still end up on my PC)

A lot of these programs can be considered to a Comptuer Plague or Cancer. Especially if it came from Microsoft. There is no clear way of removing OE and other programs and if you do, the resultant behaviour of the computer is very unpredictable.

In defence of OE, I can tell you that it takes less than a meg of space and if HD space is your concern, just pick up a 80 gig drive for $50 and put it in.
