Uninstalling software on Windows XP

Hi all, If I wanted to uninstall some software for instance, Mcafee Antivirus, but it has been hidden removed from add/remove programs, how can I remove it besides goign through the registry? Thanks all

How was it hidden/removed from Add/Remove, previous failed install/removal? You can check for an uninstall shortcut in the product folder. You can also check another system and see what the command line registered in Add/Remove was and try running that locally.

I work for a large corporation and they have hidden the uninstall process. I do techinical support and they scripters don't help us much.

Do you have permission to remove the software? (if so, by whom and why?) If not your asking how to circumvent network/corporate security, that discussion isn't allowed.
