Typical modus operandi of angry young Democrats/Liberals/Progressives/Unions/Mobsters.

It might be, it also might be some who are older and more prone to Conservative values. You mess with peoples livelihoods they tend to get irate. The blue collar Archie Bunker types are pro Union yet very conservative. They see it for what it is, a political ploy.

Well, I may be wrong about this, but as far as I know, what with WI being an open carry state and all, unlike the teabaggers, those demonstrators supportive of the public unions haven't felt the need to brandish firearms to their demonstrations outside the capitol building.......yet.

Ahh the civility.

Just a reminder that you idiots actually MURDER liberals for their views and support bullshit like torture and the iraq war

http://forums.anandtech.com/showpost.php?p=31371778&postcount=6

Also, anyone who believes the initial reports of 'death threats' against republicans is a fucking idiot, considering they admitted they considered dirty tricks like planting fake protesters to cause trouble to make them look bad. You'd think after the recent O'Keefe/NPR hoax and how you idiots jumped to conclusions that you'd have a bit more humility and restraint before doing it again... oh wait no, gotta score political points.

Someone at the SA forums made these and they're popping up in the police and fire stations as posters all over WI:

Some more generic badger art:

These are great

I find 'screw you' an inappropriate response to your post, and that I said what I meant and your response reinforced the points I made.

Your point was to not respond to my comments. Screw you is just as effective at conveying that point, if its not your style then so be it.

A couple years back the TWU picketed for two days and the city had next to no bus and train service. I remember when on the bus I was on in midtown Manhattan was blocked by union scum. They delayed me by 20 minutes because they felt they had a right to do so. While blocked I striked up a conversation with the driver, he was an mta 'manager' and he said the average bus driver at the time earned 26$ an hour + benefits. They don't pay anything to their health plan, nor do they contribute much to their pension. Now I believe they earn 29$.

I used to wonder where all my fare money went? Now I don't. Everytime I smell piss in on the subway platform I have the TWU local 100 to thank. Everytime my bus or train is late and/or over crowded? Thank you Local TWU! Subway platform falling apart? Thanks TWU! The MTA instead of putting fare increases for ride, platform, and general service improvements spends it on you, the TWU local 100!

Fucking union scum.

Cool anecdote bro. How does this apply to teachers and nurses in Wisconsin?

Guessing with your reply you probably have an union job or sympathize with the unions.

Please don't try to tug at the heartstrings with the 'teachers and nurses' bullshit. OH NO! If we don't let unions have what they want our kids will be retarded and our hospital patients will die!

Why is it that every time unions try to justify themselves the Teachers, Nurses, Firefighters, & Police Officers always come up. Of course noone will cut those essential services. It's the public sector like the TWU here in NYC that is out of control.

If boycotts don't work, why is this thread 6 pages long?

Voting with your wallet is the most American thing anyone can do.
Boycotting without the ability to sacrifice for ones ideals is a fools proposition at best.
Voting with your wallet is the most American thing anyone can do, until they have to open the wallet and pay more for a like product, then all of the sudden it's someone else's turn to boycott.

Don't believe me, how many union members cry boycott and end up shopping at one of the most union unfriendly establishments there is, Walmart.
WI Governor's Fake Budget Crisis: Gave Tax Breaks to Wal-Mart to Further Real Agenda -- Union Busting

http://www.alternet.org/newsandview...r_real_agenda_--_union_busting/#disqus_thread

Unions will even sell each other out for Walmart money, so much for union solidarity.

http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2010-...-splitting-unions-from-non-union-workers.html

The reason the unions are being bitch slapped today especially by the Republicans is because of their self inflicted wounds and divisiveness since they have become like the management, looking for immediate short term gains at the expense of long term survival, no real solidarity like in the past with other unions, no effective plan against outsourcing and illegal immigration which actually hurt them more than anyone else, and of course giving up their power to form an effective third party (Labor Party) by becoming Democrats lapdogs who continually sell them out after they have their votes like in this example http://firedoglake.com/2010/12/03/u...rade-sells-out-taxpayers-who-bailed-them-out/

You're upset that the guy working full time driving a bus is making a little over $50k?

$50k in NYC will get you a nice room in the projects and a $4 gallon of milk.

Yeah, your whole ideology is facepalm as fuck. You can't even respond because your brothers and sisters are violent sociopaths:

Police: Killer targeted church for liberal views
2 people killed, seven hurt, after man opens fire in Tennessee church

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — An out-of-work truck driver accused of opening fire at a Unitarian church, killing two people, left behind a note suggesting that he targeted the congregation out of hatred for its liberal policies, including its acceptance of gays, authorities said Monday.
A four-page letter found in Jim D. Adkisson's small SUV indicated he intentionally targeted the Tennessee Valley Unitarian Universalist Church because, the police chief said, "he hated the liberal movement" and was upset with "liberals in general as well as gays."
