I don't fly often, but when I do, I collect my United miles... I've not used them for anything yet, but this is tempting:

I'm always on the lookout for ways to burn my miles, but the selection of restaurants is rather limited in my area. (I searched 30 mile radius.) It would make a nice gift though. Are the certificates transferable?

now we need something similar for AA. I haven't had much opportunity to burn those miles.

Certs should be transferrable... the site is run by resturant.com, which sells tons of these on ebay, as well on their own site. You receive a link in an email, and you rpint the certificate.

I did not see anywhere on the website where you could type in your United miles, and get a certificate. Is there a direct link to that section?
