University is throwing away 15 projectors

My fraternity brother just came back from his job at IS to tell me that they're throwing away about 15 projectors from classrooms (just replaced them with new ones).

Is it wrong to snag 'em all and Ebay em?

I got a free one from work ... it was over $10000 when they bought it. 800 x 600 max res., 18 inches by 20 inches, about 35 pounds, 1993 model Sharp. Still works, but doesn't toss a great picture even after thorough cleaning. A new bulb will cost me around $400 CDN.

My school did this with some Dell PCs. There was a flood on the second floor and some computer on the first were thrown away. Reformatted drives and all.

cant you stack them 3 rows wide and 3 rows high so that you get a 1920x1440 display? though it would probably rape you to have that many graphics cards3 or 5 depending on weter it's a good matrox or if it's ati or nvidia or some crappy matrox) displaying those images/movies.

You could, but I imagine that'd be more work that it's worth.
