Unknown device after switching Video Cards

I had a PCI-E Nvidia EVGA 9500GT video card in my system. I went into Device Manager and click on the video card properties. On that page I went to Driver and clicked uninstall. The nvidia uninstaller came up and removed the drivers (I think). I then shut down the computer and installed a Sapphire Radeon 3650 video card. I installed the ATI driver package but now on my system I am getting an Unknown Device. I picked to search for drivers but it keeps on saying the device is Unknown.
Did some of the chipset drivers get uninstalled?
I have this motherboard with the nvidia chipset.

Are you on XP or Vista? You probably don't want to search for the drivers... you want to point directly to them. And Choose Display adapter... <- This is the short fix to be more complete do this:

1.) Download this (driver sweeper) and install it.
2.) Restart the computer in SAFE MODE.
3.) Go to Control Panel -> add remove programs -> uninstall nvidia drivers VIDEO ONLY!!!
4.) Do the same for ATI.
5.) Run driver sweeper but be careful not to take the NV Chipset out... Pretty straight forward.
6.) Restart in SAFE MODE.
7.) Install the correct drivers.

Since you now have an ATI 3650, did you install the HDMI audio driver - this is a separate install from the Catalyst driver/Control Center? Check the install CD that came with the 3650, it should be on it. If you want the latest driver, go to the AMD/ATI website, but their driver is for XP only. If you have Vista, which I assume you don't, as Windows Update auto-detected that I was missing this driver on my Vista/4870 rig and installed it automatically, well your onboard sound is a Soundmax ADI1988 so try looking on the install Cd or goto www.soundmax.com and search for an HDMI Vista driver. In either case (XP/Vista), you will also need to install Microsoft UAA HD Bus Driver 1.0b first. As far as I know, and somebody more knowledgable here may disagree with me, you only need to install the driver if you need to output sound from the 3650 to a HDMI capable monitor/receiver etc using a DVI to HDMI cable, otherwise don't bother installing this driver. All this assumes that this is your missing driver, so you may want to install the driver, just for an elimination process!

Edit: Open Device Manager, right click on your unknown driver and select properties then details. Click the down arrow on Property and scroll to Hardware Ids or Compatible Ids. If you see VEN_1002 anywhere, then I'm pretty sure this is the missing driver as 1002 is the code for ATI. Is the main Catalyst software fully installed and functioning ok under display adapters and is the Control Center icon showing in the system tray?
