Unknown Laptop Manufactorer.....Need help!!!!!

I have a laptop and want to do some upgrades, only problem is I have no clue where to go to seek help... On the laptop itself it says "KFC" and I later found out that they were made by Smile International.

I opened the laptop up to see whats inside and found out it is a Celeron 433Mhz, 64Megs of Ram, 6GigHD and DVD player...

I want to upgrade the processor to the fastest the MOBO can handle but have no clue how high it can go, When I looked at the processor it looked like a MMC-2 because of the BIGGER connector ( compared to the MMC-1, which has 2 smaller connectors ).

I have no clue where I can go for help and want to upgrade this laptop to the MAX! Anyone else have this laptop(or even heard of it)?! Please any help would be appreiciated! Thanks in Advance! Dion Unroe

Thanks everyone who replied! I am still not sure what I can upgrade this laptop to. I have seens some MMC-2 CPU modules that have the PIII cpu on them, Does anyone know if that will work on my machine or a way I can find out?!

I am thinking that as long as it is the MMC-2 CPU module it should work(mine is a MMC-2)!

It has a Celeron in it now and I want to upgrade to PIII

Is there a site on the net that will walk me thru Mobile CPU installation?! Thanks again Dion Unroe

I believe the MOBO has a 440BX chipset....... and I believe that the 440BX takes PIII.
