unlocking 1.4Ghz Tbird

Hello. . QUICK question. I just got my 1.4Ghz T-bird and I wanted to unlock it before I put my HSF on it. when i took a closer look, it appears as though my L1's are already connected. Is AMD doing that default from the factory now, or are my eyes playing tricks on me. thanks for the help

Yep, the 1.2 and higher Tbirds are unlocked from the factory. Have at it!

yeah most 1.2+ are unlocked, I would say all, but I have seen one or two cases were they were not unlocked, error, I guess? Ive had two 1.4s, both unlocked, its pretty much a guarantee.

ya...no need to unlock...should already have been unlocked when you got it.
