Friend of mine is having a prob with his computer so I'm posting here to see if I can get any troubleshooting things I can get him to do to fix it up.
He tried turning off the acpi function in his bios, and have also tried getting in safe mode but it wouldn't work. Any other solutions guys, he really needs to fix this asap.
This is the error message he gets when he starts up his comp:
unmountable_boot_volume
check to make sure any new hardware or software is properly installed if this is a new installation, ask your hardware or software manufacturer for any windows updates you might need.
if problems continue, any newly installed hardware or software. disable BIOS memory such as caching or shadowing.
if you need to use safe mode to remove or disable components, restart your computer, press f8 to select advanced startup options, then select safe mode.
