Oldest card I have would be a GTX460. Currently using a GTX1060 and wanted to go GTX3060Ti but Jeebus at 700+ retail? No thank you. I'll wait until sanity returns to the world and the GPU market.

Well that’s not retail per se. Try one of the availability trackers. Took a few weeks but I got both a 5900x and 3080 that way.

It's retail if that's the only prices you can get one for. But I'll try the trackers.

that's some necro! but not a bad one.

I never managed to use/get a FX5800, but a few years back I got a FX5900SE for very cheap, which is a card I also had around 2004, it's... close enough, it's currently installed on my DOS/9x PC (the one that is fully functional), it's a decent card, but back in 2003 I would 100% prefer a 9500PRO even.

9700PRO vs FX5800U... no way team green.

I don't have anything especially old anymore. My oldest card is a reference GTX 780; kind of neat that it is the minimum spec for Cyberpunk 2077 though. I have decided I will not be selling my Red Devil Vega 56. The reason being, there are cards I have sold in the past, that I would love to have back because of cool factor they possess. The Red Devil is definitely one of those. My 5800 Ultra on the other hand, is not among them, I could not get rid of it fast enough bitd.

Cyberpunk should run fairly decently with a 7970 even, I played it with a 7850 and it was less terrible than expected, double the specs (mostly) and 3GB of vram I can see it doing well on the ancient 7970... actually I would be curious to see a 780 vs 7970 on cyberpunk.

Neither can stay above 30fps in the most demanding spots,@1080p lowest settings, from what I have seen on youtube. Both are relegated to FidelityFX CAS or 720p, at least for now.
