It pays to check! I've checked my gold box four times now, and I've been pretty happy with it. There is another nice thread about the Gold Box feature, but I thought it would be nice to compile a list. I'd like to know what the possibilities are.

Anybody else get some hot deals they want to share?

I ain't seen squat for my gold box. I checked it this morning, and again just a few minutes ago. No DVD's ever seen. Any suggestions? Clear cookies, create new account ?

GD it. I buy 1000's of dollars of stuff from Amazon every year, and I don't have a freaking gold box. I've logged in, logged out, created a new account and bought some things, held my breath, counted to 10, stood on my head....still no freaking box. Some customer appreciation! :|

That's whack brother, for in the past I have bought like basically jack squat(no where near a thousand bucks over the years) from my three accounts but everytime when I switch accounts i get to check what's in my gold "lock" box. Go figure

Strangely - my Gold Box had never worked either, no matter how many times I reset/deleted cookies/etc.

I changed offices last week, and when I got set up in the new office, -voila- Gold Box worked.

Don't ask me why - the browser and version were still the same, but now I could get at it.

Might be worth asking the folks at Amazon.

Didn't know about this gold box thing, don't visit amazon that often, but I just checked my gold box out and all crappy items, i'll keep checking though. They gave me all like kitchen/personal hygene offers.... lol!

i checked my gold box the last three days and always gotten outdoor stuff (mostly garden accessories)
i never ordered anything remotely associated with garden stuff at amazon, and i get these offers?

how are you getting dvd offers?

i get the garden offers too.. but about one in four offers is decent. i've purchased a dvd player, dvds, and lots of computer stuff, but they might be random items in the gold box with an occasional gem.

1 was full of crappy deals on printers, and the other was all kitchen items.

Bunch of kitchen stuff they can't unload. I'm mystified at all I've bought from Amazon and they clearly have no idea what my preferences are (or they're trying to change them in some twisted, sick plot).
