I know an official ATOT ftp has existed here before, but I haven't seen it in a while. I decided to sign up for a month of Dreamhost hosting, which offers the unheard of 20GB of storage and 1TB of bandwidth for a low low $10 per month. I, like many others here, think and know this is bullsh1t (just search for dreamhost, and many threads will pop up). However, others say they've never had a single problem with Dreamhost.
So, if this is kosher with the mods, I've made an ftp account for the wunderkind of ATOT to see if you guys want to test this thing. I would like to see if they cancel my account, warn me, or anything at all. CPU usage sounds to be the first thing I'll hear of.
I'm not sure if this will take off, but we'll see. If Dreamhost seems to lay off of it, I'll renew the hosting each month for ATOT's use (and the rest of AT alike).

It is my intention to leave this ftp server going at all times in accordance to any rules here. Just don't leave important stuff on there without another copy somewhere else, that's the main reason I'm typing this .

**NOTE** It seems as if I cannot access the ftp site through IE7, but IE6 works. Also, a seperate ftp program such as CuteFTP works fine as well. Someone mind to confirm if Firefox, Opera, etc. works fine?

- This ftp ABSOLUTELY must stay within Anandtech. Please do not start giving out the login info elsewhere, as this is something I'm doing for here only.
- Absolutely on porn or nudity of any kind! While I wouldn't mind seeing it myself (), it's the rules of Dreamhost, and most likely the rules of the mods here if they let this fly (I see them locking it for some unknown reason).
- NO illegal software.
- NO illegal movies.
- NO illegal music.
