jamarcus russell sucks. 11/30 for only 123 yards? And he just fumbled. Raiders suck. GO NINERS

You're kidding me, right? He absolutely had control, and then he STUCK IT IN THE AIR.

did you watch the same replay where it showed the front view????

the ground helped him keep control. that other view was from the back when he put it in the air. holding a ball into the air doesnt mean you had control of it when you hit the ground.

His hand was under the ball, he had control, and raising it up instantly just shows it was there.

exactly. just cuz it's in his hand after the play is completely dead does NOT mean he had control of it during the END of the play.

at least the refs are calling a few against the Pats

I'm SO confused now.

For those not watching, #6, placeholder, takes the snap, stands and passes to a guy who cut left from the line. Looks like an illegal formation, catch was made but... I'm not sure, somehow it ended up a repeat 4th, five yard penalty.

the refs are making a mess of this game.

okay, so the catch was made for a first down, but the illegal formation caused repeat 4th down and five yard penalty.

i'd rather they not make it a mess overall, but evenly is acceptable. i just wanna see the teams play, not winter and his crew play.

Harbaugh was hoping for either an incomplete or completion and no first down, that way he would decline the penalty and get the ball without the FG attempt.
