First off... those who have already played Unreal2 should let others know that they are playing the warezed leak that began circulation roughly a week ago. If you're going to badmouth a game and possibly spoil it for others, make sure that you are playing a complete and bug free(relatively) legitimate version instead of a leaked and cracked one.
Second, those who claim that the graphics aren't anything to brag about are just plain wrong. This game is using the latest build of the Unreal engine, which everyone must agree is one of the most capable and high poly engines available(not to mention flexible). This leaves any graphic shortcoming to be due to the artists, which seems absurd considering that Legend has proven to be a quality game studio in the past. Both screenies and in-game clips have wowed many in the industry as well as gamers.
Third, while Unreal2 is using Epic's Unreal Warfare engine, and though it does carry the "Unreal" name, it is a completely different game than Unreal Tournament and UT2003, which focus primarily on multiplayer gameplay. Both Unreal and Unreal2 are single player storydriven games. That said, it should also be noted that, even though Unreal2 is the sequel to Unreal, it's story has no relation to the Unreal story. Legend's resoning behind this is that they believed that they would be limiting themselves creatively by continuing the original Unreal plot. Not to mention that the original Unreal had a bonus pack (Return to Nali Pali) whick effectively continued the old storyline farther than anyone wanted to see it.
My point is, don't discount this game based on what a couple of idiots claim here... go buy the game and try it for yourself. It certainly is one of the most anticipated titles of this year.
