Per today's (10/6/2002) Sunday newspaper ad. Not exactly steaming, but $39.99 is the lowest price I've seen online or otherwise.

And if the extra $.20 is worth it to you, you can get Best Buy to pricematch from $39.99.

I bought it for $37.99 at EB today and they took the rebate off the package...trying to get me to not sen it in I guess. I will use the on from on-line or get one off a package in the store. $27.99 is a good deal after the voucher.

However, the form does say that it requires the packing slip. So... I am not sure that a receipt from a B+M store will work, but you might as well try. I am going to give it a shot. $37 isn't bad for one week after release... though I am sure it will show up in a week or two for $35, and then probably $30 on Black Friday.

still on the border of deciding whether or not to get this game. I play UT 2-3 hours a day and from the demo, it doesn't seem like it's worth it unless the bring back the old weapons or something. the current weapons are weak.

I lke the demo myself... The awesome graphics add a nice dimension to the game. Seems pretty much the same to me. I'd love to see some of the other levels on the retail version.

That was intentional, honestly now 5 rockets loaded up and you don't have to aim. You gotta use your skillz! Man quake players have been doing it for years whats wrong?

Man the full version is crazy. The map files are 50-60mb apeice. They took out of heck of a lot of detail in the demo as the same levels are in the full version and have grass and such it is a beautiful game.

I played the demo and loved it. However, for pure FPS fun, I still find myself going back to good old CS. Nothing will ever beat CS (well...except the next version of CS, maybe with better graphics?).

Anyway, I'm gonna hold out until next year for Unreal II. It looks pretty sweet. Check out the latest copy of CGW for more details.
