Nice deal, but please change the topic to read UT 2004 for $20 Plus Gift code/card. Because unless you can apply the $20 gift to this deal, it's not free.

You can bet that someone would call it free, then turn around and use the $20 gift code on something else and say they got a deal there.

Well, I took the bait, and EB appears to be switching. I went to ask the reps at 2 stores tonight about the deal and neither came up with anything. Both stores thought I was talking about Unreal 2.

I even took my camera with me to snap a picture of the poster in front of the store where I preordered and it's GONE! :|

Why not? Far as I can tell, UT2k4 is backwards compatible and you can join UT2k3 servers as long as you get the proper maps...unless I misread that feature aspect.

Oh man, what a disaster. This deal is definitely dead/needs to be refined.

Basically the Atari rebate inside the package is totally worthless if you trade in your copy of UT2k3. You need the INSTRUCTION MANUAL, not a receipt of UT2k3 to get the Atari rebate.

This is the last product I will ever purchase from EB
