Only seeing an average of 86% rating. Might hold off on buying this, as most of what I've read from people it's the same ol as the previous version, with minor tweaks.

It is really a shame so many highly anticipated games are coming out at the same time.
If this came out over the summer, i would have it. If Crysis came out over the summer I would have it, but with both coming out a month after Orange Box, and with GH3 and Rock Band being out for consoles, I don't have any extra time to play another game.
I will just have to wait till after christmas when I have more time and get done with some of these games.

just bought it on ebay for $35 shipped. So if it bites, not a huge loss.

So where are all the players? The servers seem to be perpetually empty. Looks like this game bombed before it even had a chance. I hope I am wrong, and didn't waste my SG$62.
Were the servers this empty during the initial days of UT2004? I missed the first few months of that launch.

Has anyone else noticed a screwy server browser? I also think Epic dropped the ball in not having any of their own servers out there for the demo. And no onslaught in the demo? Ack!
I thought there's no Onslaught in UT3 anyway?
EDIT:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unreal_tournament_3
This wikipedia page shows no Onslaught mode for UT3.
I was disappointed back in March/April when I found out there was no Onslaught mode, as that was my favorite mode, but I know they put in another mode that is very similar to Onslaught, just the name isn't coming to me right now.

One of the maps (DM-ShangriLa) I found a little disorienting at first because of the haze/blur effect. I had to switch to another map to make sure it wasn't occurring all across the board.
I did notice the lack of AA though, haven't found a way to smooth that out. I took a screenshot -- it's really noticeable if you look at the stone wall on the left. For those who have the retail version -- is the AA configurable?
