Unsecured Wireless Networks!

I have mine setup with a WPA key, but none of my neighbors have theirs protected.
Sometimes I have up to 6 networks available, all open for trouble!

Mine's unsecure, but I live in the middle of nowhere. The two neighbors I have who could probably get my wireless signal don't have wireless.

At work, I have an overly elabroate sniffing scheme: Wildpackets Omnipeek with some RFGrabber antennas, absolutely beautiful the power you have with a system like that. Unfortunately I use it for only good purposes but man, a system like that with some directional antennas would be a perfect way to snag entry into wireless networks And let's not even talk about how WPA-PSK is hardly ever used, most of the time it is just WEP (complete with the RC5 scheduling weakness). I don't even think I've seen anyone use WPA2 (with AES-CCMP) yet, but WPA/WPA2 PSK is just about uncrackable - WEP weaknesses are a different story.

I have MAC address filtering because my configuration is pretty stable, I rarely add new components. But I don't use encryption yet. Could that mean trouble?

Stealing wireless is good especially if used for evil and dark purposes and if it screws over the people you stealing it from then even better.

several wep here.. i'm just wep too neighbors are neighbors. i trust em enough.. i know where they live after all.
