Well, despite the fake news, there is reality to be watchful that the state, in attempts at stopping discrimination against protected classes, can threaten a boundary of free speech. More broadly, I don't think a society which depends on the state to promote non-discrimination through punitive measures is best. I see nothing wrong with critiquing this action. There is a lot wrong with rigidly misconstruing it. That approach indicates not a desire to influence others to do what they see as the right thing but rather an attempt to take a position of moral superiority.
