According to leaker:

"Got this information from a reliable reseller. GTX 750 Ti should perform 10-15% lower than GTX 660"

UPDATE #2:

Notice that it have 960 cores and a 128bit bus.
The current GPUs that have 960 cores is GTX 660 (192bit bus) and GTX 675MX (256bit bus).
GTX 660 have 24ROPs. GTX 750 Ti have 16 ROPs.

Enjoy!

I have a theory:

GK107 from Kepler had a 128bit bus.
GTX 660 is like you see a 192bit bus.

GTX 750 Ti does worse on 3DMark Extreme and Valley than the 3DMark Performance, so that should be an indication that GTX 750 also have a low memory bus?

Its performance is all over the place compaired to the 660.

going from ~12-25% to ~40-50% slower in some tests.

That doesnt fit with :

"Got this information from a reliable reseller. GTX 750 Ti should perform 10-15% lower than GTX 660"
Judgeing from those scores (which we have no way of knowing if are real), its a more than just 10-15% slower, than the 660.

I have a hard time believeing that is real and not just made up numbers.

Makes sense, but wasn't there a leak with an onboard K1 chip compressing memory so that that low bandwidth isn't an issue? Hmm.

Here is the GTX 650 Ti it might replace.
Notice that it also have a 128bit bus. And have 768 cores vs GTX 660s 960 cores (-20%).

Yeah, As I said, the 750Ti would be slower than the 650Ti boost, but around 260X

It doesnt replace the GTX660/760. But GTX650 TI.

Shouldn't a GPU's replacement be stronger than the previous version? There's a huge gap between the GTX 660 and 760, so it should at least be equal to the 660. Instead, it may be weaker than the 650 Ti (Boost). How is that not sad? At best, this should have been called "GTX 750". The "Ti" is nothing more than price gouging.

Where is it not stronger than the GTX650TI? Its seems to be you demanding its faster than the GTX660. A 190$ product. While the GTX650TI can be had for down to 100$.

This is what we get when there is no node progress.

Look again. Those are the GTX 660 specs.

EDIT: Oh, you noticed your mistake... hold on.

EDIT2: Okay, I guess the gap between the 650 Ti and 660 was bigger than I thought. That said, when you look at 660 to 760, 670 to 770, or 680 to 780, this is really pathetic. This shouldn't have "Ti" in its name. The gap between this and the 760 is way too huge for this to make sense.

Also since its new architect , the drivers might need some work to see full potential .
Also lets see how it does on compute tasks and other BM's .

The GTX760 is a 250$ card....

Which is on-par with the GTX 670... Am I really that crazy for thinking that the 750 Ti should match the GTX 660 even though that would be consistent with the performance differences in the rest of the series? Unless this costs $120 or less it's dumb, and even then i still think it shouldn't be called "Ti". However, it'll probably be $150+

It will most likely be sub 150$. maybe even sub 130$. Again, look at the 650Ti, down to 99$.

Its a simple fact you are not getting crazy performance increases without a node shrink.

not so sure you need node shrink on low end cards, as power usage and heat are not issue like what we see on high end , like R290's were its maxed out .

My guess is "if" it doesn't perform as you would think for version, then the price will be adjusted .
Those heven and Valley do seem way out of place but again we need more testing and on final drivers .

Edit: went to see how 650ti boost does in Valley and found one on you tub , 23.8 for extreme HD with 3.8ghz cpu , but the above posted BM info there no setting or system info so can't do comparison really .

Out of curiosity, what the heck happened to the GTX 650 Ti Boost cards?

According to leaker:

I`ve been searching around for a bit to compare with the GTX 650 Ti

3DMark11 Performance:
GTX 650 Ti: 4808
GTX 750 Ti: 5820
21% increase

3DMark11 Extreme:
GTX 650 Ti: 1485
GTX 750 Ti: 1785
20% increase

What do you guys think? "Meh" or impressive? It kinda makes you wonder if this +20% is because of new architecture (architecture gains) or if GTX 750 Ti is just a rebrand despite reason rumors, with 20% higher clocks...

I wish I knew more about this card :hmm:

Ugh, so there is a Boost card as well.

Now I don`t know what to think about this card. The power consumption better be really good compared to 650 Ti boost.

A 750 Ti should be more comparable to a 660 than that imho. Card is way too cut down to even be worth purchasing.
