Steve Carrell is certainly on the rise a major comic actor.

Does no one else relize every single one of those is a sequal, a remake, based on a video game, or a combination of those things. I havnt been to the theatre in about a year.

If they are good sequels to good movies, why complain? There is a ton of orginal (a relative term in Hollywood) product coming out as well.

I suppose I have a slightly different perspective since I am in the business, but I am more than happy to see anticipated sequels release to some of the highest grossing films of all time.

Never saw a Seagal movie in theatre. I'm not that big of a fan.

Honestly, I don't know why people don't like sequels.

Sure, a lot of them are just for the money, but when you have solid characters, it's enjoyable to see more of a story develop and them become deeper characters.

I think Muppets Treasure Island was done after he was dead already too. It's the best of all the movies, imho.

i concur

i hope 10,000 B.C. is good since we dont get enough great prehistoric movies but roland emmerich is writing and directing it. he is also doing king tut which will most likely be screwed up also.

The Fountain and Flags of our Fathers are the only two movies coming up that I really really want to see. I think they are going to be released in 2006 though, so I may have just invaded your thread.

404: Good movies not found. Half of those are sequels to movies which were terrible and the other half are add ons to older than dirt movies that were good in their time, but would only ruin the movie/show with an add on.

Fantastic Four was just bad BTW.

Some of them might be worth watching though.

Agreed. Where are the good movies? I see a bunch of ****** videogame/comic book movie sequels. That's like two recipes for disaster in one.
