"Atari®, the name synonymous with the video game revolution, presents the ultimate arcade collection. 12 of the best classic Atari games with all the fast action, sights and sounds you remember! Asteroids®, Asteroids? Deluxe, Battlezone®, Centipede®, Crystal Castles?, Gravitar?, Millipede?, Missile Command®, Pong?, Super Breakout®, Tempest® and Warlords®. Each Atari title is faithfully reproduced down to the last detail, and each one is just as easy and fun to play." Get it at ArcaMax for $4.99 shipped. This is an awesome collection of games. Well worth the $5 in my opinion.

I own all of the original carts of these games . . . and therefore I use MAME to play them on my PC

Man, I miss my ATARI days! Games like Combat, Dodge'Em, and Superman were the bomb back in the day!

I have this for my Dreamcast. It would be much better if it included Mountain King and Joust.

Anybody tried those all-in-one controllers (look kinda like N64 controllers) that have the hardware for playing like 8 Atari games? I kinda thought about getting one for my girlfriend, since she's a big pitfall fan, but I wanted to know a bit more about them.

>>>anyone else still keep an 8-bit around just to play M.U.L.E.?? <<<

I use to play that game all the time on my Atari 800. It's now in storage.

Archon by EA was also a great game. Worms was OK. Hard Hat Mack was a disappointment.

Does anyone know if these are the arcade versions or 2600 VCS versions of the games?

archon was a great game.
I have never found a computer version of Tempest as good as the
arcade machine with the spinning knob - the only game that used a knob.

one of my favorites from the old Apple IIE days was Aquatron by Sierra
Online - it was a aquatic version of Defender. what a great game -
Ive never been able to find it for a PC though.

I remember Tempest. There was a trick (I forget, it's been a few years since I did it) to get fere credits and also advance levels. Man did I love thst game! We had Pong when it first came out, that was da bomb way back when! Thanks for the link and I believe I'll be hittin this deal.

They are the arcade versions -- exactly as you remember them. Missile Command and Centipede are as good as they ever were.

Talk about dating myself...I was playing a few of these atari games before they were truely released because my sister worked for the chip co back in the mid 70s..I remember thinking how cool especially the parachute one where you had to time your descent with wind direction and speed conditions and land on a pad to score...I always refused to upgrade for my kids (nintendo etc.) so here I am the kids are grown and gone and I have 2 original sets and about 300 original carts (They were sooooo cheap at yard sales!!!) I guess when I have grandkids...guess what they are gonna have to play!!!! But for 8 bucks this will be had

remember the patches you would get if you scored a certain amount of points by sending in a picture of your tv screen.

DigDoug and Super Pit Fall are great ones! Spent way to much of my childhood staring at a green and white screen!

Hey lets not ignore the wonders of the Intellivision or the Commodore 64/128. Now those were some great systems! Battle Chess and B17 Bomber were awesome! Thanks for the memories!
