been doing some upgrades to my computer lately, and been checking out some of the other forum topics. saw a site that a fellow ATer owns. boought an LCd screen for my computer there a while back and shipping and service were good. was at the site the other day looking at some more stuff when i saw some CPU fans for my new xp 1700.

i ended up going with the SVC golden gate, which was only 14.99, a good price since SVC Compu cycle raised their prices. I also saw the alpha pal 8045 for only 30.99! seems pretty cheap. shipping will prolly be around $5, that is how much it was for the golden gate. check it out if you like.

here

update, building a system for my sister, checked out the site again to find lots of new items. picked up a dynatron

That is the first shop that ask for personal information such as gender and date of birth, both marked as required. Why do they need to know that? Why don't they make your SS number required and then open CC under your name.

WOW! my site posted on hot deals..*feels Honored*.

Anyways civh the only reason i had Gender required was because when the shopping cart sends out emails it address's it to: Mr/Mrs. But i didn't think that people would frown upon it, so now i have taken it out.

The Date of Birth Requirement was there because anyone under 13 is not allowed to legally buy from my site and through my credit card processor.

Well i hope i took care of your fears..No more gender/DOB questions =).

I really like suggestions, so if you have any, throw them my way and i can take care of htem!

Thanks.

I agree the heatsink is very cheap. I just paid $39 for it at plycon. However, plycon was the only website (at least I could find) which offered papst fans for sell and the alpha hs. I think the total came out to be around $60 for the heatsink + shipping and although this is extremely high - i got the exact fan I wanted and didnt have to order it from a separate site and then have more shipping charges.

Hey Ocuflox,
Tried to PM you but you aren't set up. Interested in your username, are you in the eye business or an Allergan rep?

You have a good price on the Alumina but why not offer free first class shipping like www.svcompucycle.com ? Why pay more for shipping then the item costs? I bought my AS2 from them and got in a padded envelope. BTW, I gave SVC that idea of free shipping on certain small products and they went with it.

Hey TechTones, thanks for the tip, by first class you mean regular mail right? Yellow Padded envelope?. Just for you (and the rest of the ppl =), FREE First Class Shipping on Arctic Alumina and AS2! Now how do you like that!

EDIT:

Since i dont want to keep bumping randomly, i'm responding to the next post here =).

Yes, i am planning to add more fans. My site is new, and i don't have everything i would like to have. I gotta work up slowly. I expect to get Papst fans in soon and also some higher cfm fans such as the YS-Tech 48 cfm fan.

The site doesn't have a lot fans to choose from. Think you can add more to your fan inventory Joker?
A 80mm high cfm fan (by high I mean 40+cfm at least) coupled with the PAL8045 would be sweet.

Bump to spread the word of a fellow ATer's business which also happens to have pretty damn good prices.

Hey JokerF15 since you said that you welcomed comments, thought I would offer one. There is a an adapter available to adapt a fan from 3 pin to 4 pin and monitor RPM's. These are hard to find and would be an item that any overclocker would be interested in. This is a low cost item that I would hesitate to buy singley but would add to another order to minimize shipping costs. You have some very good prices.

Hey Joker! First I would like to say nice site and nice prices, but what I'm really wondering is did you write that PHP yourself?

Please try to offer a Panaflo silent 80mm fan for the Alpha. I really need to shut my system up. I've bookmarked your site & am anxiously hoping you offer it soon!

Hey guys,

thanks for the support.

Colie: I am working hard on getting these in. Since they are basically a 'custom' item there are no real suppliers. I have talked to one person who will probably be able to do these. =).

im2smrt4u: The Actual Shopping cart is made and developed by The Exchange project at www.theechangeproject.com. It is in preview release. Basically i had to do a lot of coding and design work to get it to work properly on my server. Its really a nice design and it is easily customizable. Look for a new design in a few weeks =).

As far as Fan combo's, i should be getting some in This week. From High to low end! =).

Anybody have any experiences with the SVC Glacial Cooler 68? Seems like a pretty cool idea (60mm^2 base but uses 80mm^2 fans). Definitely gonna visit the site again so keep up the good work

Yes Joker it goes thru regular mail but First Class. Yes the stuff I ordered from SVC came in a yellow somewhat padded envelope to protect the contents. I was so impressed with the free shipping I ordered some Alumina tonight.

Yes the tubes are so small it's just nuts to go Priority for them. Thanks for implementing the idea.
Good going!
