UPDATE: I GOT SCAMMED! (What should I do?)

wow, i've been totally scammed. the number she gave me, which i called earlier this week and she answered has been "Call Failed" all night. On a night my team won the super bowl! UGH! What should I do?

i dont think there is much you can do. talk to your bank. telephone paypal. call the police.

bank transfers are kinda like handing over cash... once it is gone, that is pretty much the end of it.

Because we're not as smart as you? Maybe because for every scam thousands of sales are made with no problem. You just have to be careful and protect yourself if a lot of money is at stake - like use a credit card.

With no CC you have very little recourse. The only thing you could do if you find out who the person is file in small claims court.

I guess you can never be too careful. The seller was on eBay for 5 years, made about 300 transactions, then decides to scam and run.

I hate people who sell product without actually having it in stock. I ran into this buying an Ipod once had to wait 2 months to get the damn thing. I reported them to Ebay and the BBB. I am happy to report they no longer sell on Ebay.

"I got your phone message yesterday. I will contact the post office I would
give it a nother day or two when I sent it out they said 2-9 days depending
on when and where it was going I ask the post man and he said on average 4-5
days but I will check if you would like."

I do not understand how a package can take 2-9 days ... that just doesn't make sense, especially if she sent it out priority at the "worst".

And Texas to Missourri is not far at all.

Dude you are getting scammed, all that is happening is the person keeps on delaying and you are falling for it. The longer you wait to try to fix this the harder its going to get. I would contact your bank right now and tell them what happened and see if you have any kind of protection, as well as contacting paypal.
