Update: Linksys 5 port 10/100Mbps Switching Hub (Price dropped, you can get the difference back)

I just ordered me a Linksys 5 port 10/100 Mbps hub on Onvia, priced at $54.95. Used the $10 off $15 coupon from http://www.bensbargains.net. And there's a $10 rebate on this sucker. I've been looking around for a switch, and couldn't find much better than $35.00 shipped for a Linksys. Hope this is hot or at least warm.

I'm not trying to slam you here or anything because it's a pretty good deal - but how can you say this deal is $34.95 "shipped" when you have to send in for a $10 rebate? Seems like it's $44.95 shipped, $34.95 after rebate.

I have one of these, be aware that there are some issues with it not being compatible with some network adapters.

The irony is that even one of Linksys' older NIC's doesn't work with the switch. works fine with their 10/100 hub...

if you buy quality nics u wont have a problem, simple as that, any intel or 3com will work fine

I have it, and it works fantastic with my $12 Linksys 10/100 PCI cards.

Blazing fast.

EDIT: For reference, the cards I use are the LNE100TX variety. I say $12, but you can often find them for half that with deals/coupons. I've paid 10 times that for a card, and the performance was exactly the same.

I tried using the 10 off 15 coupon earlier and it wouldn't work... this was around lunchtime on Thursday... so I decided to try pricematching it with staples... called it in, waited on hold for a while, then got it- right now, staples has 10 off 50 and 15 off 75 coupons... and free shipping over $50... I picked up the switch and 4 mead five-star 3 subject spiral notebooks for ~67 or so, since I'm gonna be needing the notebooks next quarter anyway

I just got mine at egghead. working fine with a netgear and a 3 com nic.

model number - Etherfast EFAho5W (fits in the palm of your hand) 46.00 shipped from egghead. I looked on linksys site. No rebate on this one. Let me know if you see one and please link it.

Anyone who recently bought this hub, Onvia has dropped the price by $5, use the priceprotection gaurantee if you're within 30 days, they'll refund yuo the difference. I just did it today, no problems at all.
