jus picked up a set of these BRAND NEW (not floor model or nethin) at local Circuit City (West Covina, CA) for $143.96 plus tax (8.25%) =(

but hey the best 4.1 speakers for this price w/ no rebates is HELLA HOT IMHO

hopefully this price is available nation-wide -_-

WOOOT!!! I live up in Berkeley, called around, NONE of the CC's in the bay area carry the speakers, so I called a friend back in Socal to get them for me at the Norwalk CC.

$129 before tax, ~$140 after. Great deal... checked on pricewatch, the cheapest these speakers run for are around $200. I had been thinking about getting me some Z560s, but this deal sealed the deal.

Now to find a lcd...

Can someone tell me if there is a BIG differece between the 4.1 and 5.1? I'm still waiting to pick up a steal on the 5.1.

And for rile0161 don't worry about it. I'm the same way with my fiance. Not even married but I'm her puppet already when it comes to buying toys. She know how much I surf on Anandtech.
But I got her flowers once and credit it to AT and that made her happy.

5.1s = bigger sub, center channel (duh), i think sats are more powerful
