I got in on this deal. Recieved some, others to be shipped. If OD made a mistake, and decided not to ship fine. If they call after shipping and ask me to pay the difference or return the goods, fine. If they just charge my CC, that's another matter.

It's no more shady than you using coupons meant to be one per purchase, not to mention non-transferable, etc etc.Originally posted by: gogeeta13
good heads up.
That is shady as hell. I am guessing they didnt consult you for your permission as well. Force your CC to deny the adjustment charge, and keep the order when you get it.
Uh not it's a lot more shady. They willingly sold the items. The people here did NOT give Office Depot permission to charge them more money.

No, the buyers only defrauded OD by stacking unstackable coupons which was clearly against the coupon's T's and C's. Complaining about OD's billback's is like the "pot calling the kettle black".
OD has the right to fight back if they were defrauded.

Please! None of you accidently stumbled into this deal. You knew going in that you were stacking coupons that ordinarily can't be stacked. If you get hit with additional charges and want to fight them, be my guest, but don't come in here justifying and rationalizing your behavior while hollering about shady, illegal, fraudulent actions on their part. Save your "righteous" indignation for your lawyer. It just won't fly here.

I don't know.
I think it's a pretty good analogy.
If you take those 4 coupons to the store and they accept it, they can't ask you to pay more later.
I'm just an ignorant customer who try to use coupons found online.
They should tell me during transaction time whether or not it's doable.

Is this happening to mostly people who bought the hard drives? I got my 19 inch monitor and so far see no chargeback.

The question here is permission to charge. Their site TOS claims it is optional to store your CC info. If you didnt volentarily store your info, and they charged you, not only are they breaching the contract of your purchase(clicking confirm on an order total of $82 or whatever) but they are breaking their TOS and credit card policy.
If this is indeed happening, not only are you entitled to refuse to pay the 2nd charge, but you can probably start a lawsuit.
