I was just looking around the OD website and I noticed that this chair is on rebate again (!). so if you missed it before, like I did, now is your chance to get this chair at a pretty good price. The rebate form says that it's good only for web purchases.

my status change from rejected to qualified

Just so everyone knows, this is the third (consecutive) time that ExpressGroup has rejected my submission "due to a system glitch". Everytime I've called, I've gotten the same lame excuse,... "we just updated our system and there was an apparent glitch when processing the rebates...."

So, have "they" been upgrading their system continuously for the last two (2) months?

Doesn't anyone there have a clue how to "fix the glitch" after two (2) months?


Glitch my-ass, they're trying to get people to forfeit their rebate that don't track their rebates very well (or at all). :|

I bought this chair on 9/2.....the rebate is already gone from the website....can someone send it to me plz....also I didnt get a receipt when they delivered my chair...how do I get one.....sorry so slow....getting ready to switch jobs and also been trying to get my counter-strike clan ready for leagues and tournys....forgot all about the rebate.....plz send me copy of rebate at Stranker@aol.com.....yah yah aol....but I also have roadrunner...I am just used to my aol email....

Check your mail. You should have a copy of the rebate form now.

As I said when I sent it, I contacted OD CS about no receipt and they said to use the email confirmation of the order if it was ordered on line.

does office depot let you pricematch to another office store (officemax, staples) over the phone? and could you apply a coupon code on phone orders? and do they accept competitor's coupons at the b&m stores

Wow, didn't even realize the price had gone down to $49.99 - hopefully my local OD will give me the credit, since I used a coupon they might not.... doesnt hurt to try!

I used a coupon and my OD would've let me price adjust the chair to $49.99 if I would've been within the allowed time frame. I bought my chair 9/1, didn't hear about the price change until 9/16 and then tried to get a price adjustment on the 17th. I was already 2 days past the 14 day in-store policy regarding price adjustments.

I'd say just make sure that you're within 14 days if you purchased the chair in the store and within 7 days (I heard somewhere that it was 7 days for online purchases) if you purchased the chair online. If you fall within this time frame, you shouldn't have a problem, unless you get a pr*ck manager. I'd certainly argue with them if you do.

At least thats what Express Group Rebate center says even though

1 My register Receipt. has the correct SKU #442441
2 The register printed out the rebate form and rebate receipt

DON'T LET them off easy.

First call 1800-937-3600 Office Depot Corp.Office (8-4 Eastern)
EXT 84501
File a complaint with your state AttnyGen. The MI AttnyGen.
and the FTC Bury them under so may complaints that they stop denying valid claims

My rebate also was rejected... a simple call to OD Customer Support and fixed it. The first rebate (9/2-9/7) was called ODKY0001, and the second (9/8-9/15) was ODKY0002. It apparently screwed up the data entry people (they should have just extended the first rebate) and that is why the first rebates are all rejecting. Call 800-954-0606 and it took 30 seconds to change to "approved"

Mine was shown as Qualified and "Your rebate is being processed." for months. Is there a phone # we can call and ask them when the check will be mailed?

The purchase dates were 9/1 - 9/7, so it has only been about 8 weeks, nothing outrageous in the rebate world. That being said, I want my rebate too.....
