Beyond my personal opinion that it looks silly and is dangerous, I just don't get why you would do it...

everybody is entitled to thier own opinion. i dont think it looks silly. i dont see how its dangerous-- its just covering up the top 5 inches (not 1/4th of the window) that is tinted really dark anyways. I never look up there anyways, (i can see traffic lights fine still)

I chose the AEM over the Injen cuz it has been dyno tested and charts are easily available (I think there are dyno charts for teh Injen too, and the curves are not as good as the AEM ones).

Also AEM has EXCELLENT cusotmer service. Posting on their forums yields a reponse in a day or less and they are always helpful and friendly

Links? Seriously, if you've seen dyno charts from a third party, I'd love to see them.

AEMs are ceramic coated on the outside, but not on the inside.

I have no idea about Injens.

Plastic ones such as Icemen supposedly have better thermal characteristics, but I wouldn't know.

in the end its going to come down to what i can afford. I have a feeling the actually differences in power increases between any of them is going to be extremely minimal.

Yes, we do custom designs. Designs need to be supplied in vector format or we can convert (although there is a setup charge if vector art is not supplied), and we have a minimum order amount on custom designs.

it is actually more than that. CAI itself dynoes +8 hp. headers should free a lot since it removes a cat in there.

Dave Coleman's rally car is I/H/E + cams I think valve springs, balance shaft removal + i believe engine management

put down 175 to the wheels when stock a spec v puts down 145-150 to the wheels

ps. just got my cai today woohoo! need to go buy a torque wrench so I can install it!
