DefRef, I hope a large fat man goes over to your house wearing a sign that says "I rape people who have an online Alias of 'DefRef'" and bends you over and sticks it to you, because obviously you, for some bizarre reason, believe that disclaimers absolves people from all moral responsibility for their actions.
Yes, let's let all retailers allow themselves to post whatever price they want to for products they have not purchased from their manufacturers yet. That'll go real well. Oh wait, make sure they have that disclaimer! That's the most important part! Now everything's ok.
And I heartily appreciate your amazing tactics for debate. Fail the bar exam because calling the bar association a bunch of kids didn't work? It really doesn't do much more than irritate people I'm afraid.
I suppose I'll have to admit to resorting to calling you immature as well, but whereas I can argue that you're points truly are inane, you, on the other hand, cling to the mere belief that disclaimers make all things ok, except for children.
What provantage did was unfair, and annoying, and everybody who was victim to it pretty much agrees except for maybe you and a handfull of others. However I sincerely doubt that anybody who did get screwed over wasn't at least a little irritated. So they didn't commit mass consumer fraud and rob us of millions of dollars. I still don't think that such consumer irritation should be allowed by the cover of some weak disclaimer. Sure, in hindsight maybe I shouldn't have ordered from them after seeing that disclaimer, but do you skip out on amusement parks because of their risk disclaimers?
