This is a smoking deal! Surprised this isn't getting more attention.

I have both SE and non-SE Western Digital drives, and the day to day performance difference is negligible. Don't let that stop you from getting in on a fantastic hard drive deal.

Cost for me comes out to $219.33 including tax and shipping - $100 MIR = $119.33.

So I'd then have to wait another three months for the rebate, or buy one NEW on eBay for ~ $130.

Prices will be even lower once the ferengi's flood the market.

Market has already been flooded, a few weeks ago was the $100AR 175gb WD drive deal B&M for the 25th (I think) anniversery sale. But most of these drives are selling for $140-150 on ebay (including shipping).

the main reason i want the 8 is for the 3 yr warrenty, all of my drives die after a year and a half or so
