Don't know how many fans of The Wire there are here, but Amazon.com has the complete series available for preorder for $144.49, plus any applicable tax and shipping (though I think shipping's free with this amount). The regular price is $249.99 and the season 1-4 collection is $170+, so I'd say this is amazingly hot.

Best series evah! The stories, plot line, and character run deep. It takes an investment to get into The Wire, but it is totally worth it. Be patient, you will get hooked!

I loved The Sopranos....but this one has a more linear story line from episode to episode.
